England and South Africa are off the back of great seasons and Argentina are claiming to be. They're all peaking too early and should be discounted.

Everyone else is kind of middling which I've been repeatedly told is ideal for world cups 2 years out but I'm not sure winning games can be seen as a good thing right now.

Wales aren't peaking at all so I'd back them But that last minute win to Japan might come back to bite them later in the tournament.

I would suggest Scotland too but Townsend spoke about how important it is for them to beat Ireland which means it won't happen. Killed their chances in one sentence, the bald fool.
