He wont go to the Tahs now. The Blues are apparently considering him..

I hope they don't if I'm honest. Better players than Guildford out there that come with less hassle. That said he looked good vs Counties..

He'll be in trouble. How this got missed I don't know.

Yeah saw that too. Otherwise he was solid though. Scored a try and could have had another one. Stupid tackle must be said, probably should have been a red at the time.

Auckland vs Canterbury wasn't pretty to watch. Lolagi Visinia has had a shocking season so far, his option taking has been woeful.

Jeez, what an outstanding comeback from Otago, 6-22 down at half time, to win 34-27

Same here. I'm tired of them signing big name players outside of the region. Try and retain a few of the local guys, even if it takes a few years to invest in them. This is (very partially) part of their problem imo.

Yes he's talented but maybe he's lacking in confidence from being in a losing team like the Blues. He'd rather just boot the ball in the air and hope for the best rather than try to create something

anyone seen these?

Seen the top one parked outside Trafalgar Park

That big number 6 for Wellington looked like a prospect today or yesterday, w/e time it is..

^^ I wants more. Does every province have one of those on the go?

Late reply sorry. I'm not sure if every province has them, but I've been picking these up through Tony Veitch's facebook page "Veitchy on Sport." People have uploaded them at various times.

Can anyone tell me how O'Connor is doing @ Hawkes Bay?

O'Connor is a really good player who could have probably established himself down at the Crusaders if it weren't for McCaw and Matt Todd. To give a rough idea, his stats are pretty even with Todd. As it stands, O'connor has 1 try, 2 try assists, made as many carries as Todd, made more meters, has 8 lineout catches. Has played about the same amount of minutes/games as Todd as well, so it's a fair comparison. Tackling has been very solid at 88.9% .. not quite as prolific in this area as some of our other players in the competition though.

I am watching the Canes match and had to turn the sound off due to the out of work DJ who believes that the crowd would lose their attention without doses of tinny loud music at every break in play!!! Also never heard so many announcements from the PA during play!!

14 for the Canes has great pair of feet and should become a pro dancer in the way he uses them !

Vaea Fifita ... The Tasman blindside (Peter Samu) has had a strong season too, and will hopefully get a Super contract as well

Geeez, Tasman just demolished Wellington in that second half. Put more points on them in 40 minutes that they had conceded in all the games combined so far.

Maybe an all South Island final is on the cards... mind you Taranaki have just snuck into the top four I see

Yep, Tasman look like certainties to be repeat-finalists this year. And Canterbury look like how Canterbury usually looks. Having Nepo Laulala there is a big boost. The man who could overtake Owen Franks after the World Cup in my opinion.

Anyone seen that blonde kid at number 7 for Auckland? Mitch Karpik? He's showing promise.

Hulk Hogan?

Yeah, he looked good for the U20s too.
