Tell you what - I've been really impressed by Ihaia West. I've watched the entire ITM - some games more carefully than others. Crusaders are my go-to team, but Hawke's Bay slowly won me over. That last goal against Wellington? Wow. High pressure, hard angle, and he nailed it.

Not sure if he's just had a lucky streak, or if he's really honed his skills to a consistent level, but for right now, I'm impressed.

He's tall. A pretty solid lock. Doesn't really come with big wraps in NZ - but a solid enough signing and he's only 25.
