Two teams struggling recently meet up on the weekend in Samoa. Both sides really need a win badly as form is in steep decline with both leading into the 2015 RWC. Italy lost last week in Fiji while the best Samoa could muster was a draw against a relatively weak Tongan side. Not sure who to pick in this one could go either way.

15-0 Samoa, ffs you've got to be kidding me...I guess this puts their 6N losses in perspective now. They really must be considered Tier 2 right now, that's just a given. Sad news...and we BETTER not fcking lose in Rome next year !!!!!!!!!!!!!

but the question is for italy should Jacques Brunel be sacked ? tbh i dont think so because i dont think he's a bad coach, i think he is trying to make italy something they need alot off work on. im not 100% sure on this but im sure Brunel is trying to make italy an attacking team and a team is a strong attacking mind but italy isn't use to it and on this tour they are missing 2 off they're best players and everything goes through parisse it shows how big a role parisse play's in the italian team and shows what italy are without him

miserable result for Italy. I still can't believe it. If they lose to Tonga...I fear the hurt might be deeper than we all thought and all of a sudden their 50point loss to England at home takes a new meaning.
And yes, maybe Brunelle's too old for this or smt, he was doing fine, excellently in fact during some stretches. But excellent coaches sometimes turn detrimental to their team. Noves for e.g. is obviously on the obsolete side of things in Toulouse.

they play japan next i think after those 2 horrible results its going to be a japanese win but if italy play tonga and lose that then yeah should be a tier 2 drop for italy. btw i remember scotland losing to tonga but that isn't happening again i hope

my bad, *Japan. They're losing in Japan probably if they couldn't beat Fiji or an incomplete Samoan side. I don't even believe in the old losing is a wakeup call and they'll pull themselves together in adversity yadi yada. I predict a loss in Japan. Haven't seen their last two matches, but they're obviously entirely out of focus and empty of confidence. And looking at their 6N campaign (after the Cardiff game)...

there aren't any. I'm quite sure the game wasn't televised, possibly not filmed at all. There are no highlights anywhere to be found and my very very sure source for full matches doesn't even have it, and they usually have absolutely everything. I guess we ought to just take their word for it that Samoa won this 15-0
And I mean, it's all penalties...
