Haha, you can only protect them so much Nigel.

Shocking performance by NZ but still won... mm, wouldn't want to see that performance from ABs in the RWC.

Congratulations to the Kiwis, another fine performance from a fine side.

Not Chris' fault too much at the end, daft daft pass to no one.

England's pack performance - Good
England's defence - Good
England's ability to finish out wide - Shaky

Now where have I heard that before...

Well. That was underwhelming.

Why we didn't go for a quick tap I will never know.

Some of the decisions in that game were attrocious, one of the worst refereeing efforts I've seen in awhile.

On the flip side, did not expect England to get that close. They did very well with all their injuries.

Yes. Because there isn't a single Kiwi fan in the stadium.
lol didnt think soemone would actually say something like this. of course there are! But how am i to count them? :p safe to say. the vast majority of that are english supporters therefore the influence...

seriously now... this shouldnt even be a discussion matey.

Good 2nd half performance by the AB's. I hope our kickers spend the week place-kicking, as 3/8 is not good enough at test level.

I have a distinct feeling that Nigel was a tad bit biased in that game. If he could have awarded two penalty tries at the end there he would have.

Noticed you idiots weren't commenting when he gifted you the game in the 1st test in the summer ?

I wonder is Lancaster gives another talk about intensity and taking opportunities, like after every time we lose to a Southern Hemisphere team.

Yeah and complaining about home teams getting a bit of an advantage for being at home is ridiculous. You really think the All Black's record at Eden Park isn't influenced by the stadium and the crowd, for example?

dont think it was biased. just atrocious and shockingly crowd pleasing.

I heard he uses the pages of McCaw's book as toilet paper!

He probably does think that and also that Santa is real and so is the Easter bunny . Anyway he can't talk now his mum said he has to go in for tea ;)

Farrell and Cares kicking was absolutely crap. 1st 15 minutes we kept the ABs pressured by keeping possession and doing multiple passes. The last 15 of the first half we would just do 1 pass contact 1 pass contact. We were never going to breka through with that. From 40 mins to 70 mins though WTF were Farrell and Care doing!? Every single time we got possession we would just kick uncontested balls straight at the AB back 3. WTF do you hope to achieve doing that!? All we had to do was keep possession and we could have been in with a chance but instead we just did kick kick kick kick. Farrell should not have started, he was dire, Hartley is slipping back into old habits too.

Some shocking reffing decisions too, ABs getting away with all sorts of crap at the breakdown again, McCaw completely off his feet how many times?

lol it is - in every sport i watch. Never seen a ref give a an NFL flag or a decision i football PURELY because he wanted to appease the crowd though. at least not like THAT.

you guys are being disingenuous if that simply is "home crowd advantage".

just stop mate. it was an average game where England came clsoe, it's over.

Brilliant retort by the MAverick! haha well done. :)

I have to see I've rarely seen a more one-eyed and graceless response to a match thread here, sans Darwin, who remains a gent.

Mixed feelings here. I thought the All Blacks did alright. Weather, Cruden's kicking, yellow cards, and Nigel Owens aside, England did well to keep the score line from blowing out - if they could have kept up the momentum and secured possession the result may have been a bit different. Then again, if we had a few factors align with what we want, the result could have been different in our favor too.

I'd be dropping Cruden for the last two tests.
