[2013 TRC] Argentina vs. Australia in Rosario (05/10/2013)

Because they're not going to be biased by wanting the outcome help
their country...

It's not having NH refs thats a problem but bad NH refs thats one. Nigel Owens was superb earlier.

Nigel owen? The one who screw two clears attacks from us vs Aus in Perth?
Oh yeah i remember him

Not a bad game so far. Argentina's 1-on-1 tackling has been their major issue - Folau is having a storming match!

A penalty or droppie before half would have really helped, I think that was a bit of a missed oppourtunity at the end.
Yep, missed by yet another handling error.

But those 5 consecutive scrums will haunt me forever, seriously how stupid can you be to lose the ball in such situation?, keeping track of it should be your first concern!

I cannot believe the penalty try was not awarded. That changed the rest of half, we end without points, the wallabies scored and started gainning confidence.
Still, the crappy defense we are displaying today is nothng but our fault.
The 15 point difference will probably not be broken in the second half. One more year of waiting...

bonus point for AUS on the 41st minute, now who could have predicted that?

A good piece of evidence there of what you get from busy winger. Imhoff offers himself to make 3 runs in a minute to gain the ground for Landajo's try.

why the HELL would you do that ?!!!!! tackle a guy without the ball in such an obvious, visible way ?!!

Wallabies are much better in this game, I liked several things of them tonight.

OK well that's it for Argentina....
They'll win one next year.

what!!! i just woke up late from watching the previous game and my eyes popped out my head when i saw the score

Phelan should go. This was a must-win. Tactics were wrong.

Also, Barnes was partial, favoured Australia. It would not have changed the result but not cool.

this will sound cheap, but Argentina are just exhausted. A part from Lobbe who's constantly active, as a team they just look weird.
Australia's playing well, but what kind of a defense is that from the Argies ? This looks a bit like France Australia 2010. An aberration, smt just weird. Argentina weren't nearly ready when they started in Joburg, and they're out of focus here and struggle to make it through the match.
They were punishing NZ in the scrum and they're losing scrums here against Aus at home ?!
That 3rd try, I swear they all just stood still and watched the guy score.

They're exhausted, this match was too much. They've had to play beyond their level consistently, twice against the Boks, twice against the Blacks, and once they almost took it in Aus. They can't play such teams forever, there's obviously a limit, and this match is it.

WTF? The Aussie's just forced a tighthead at scrum time
