I don’t take the point about SMEs being killed by the EU. let’s see how SMEs fare in a closed island economy with no trade relationships with their closest neighbors and new logistical costs and delivery times that are untenable for small companies running fine margins. And of course that’s not something I relish in because it’s going to effect Irish SMEs very badly too due to the amount we still landbridge through the UK/ the need to change shipping routes completely hence why the likes of Enterprise Ireland are funding Brexit preparedness programmes for small exporters.
If you think things will be rosy for SMEs after a Brexit particularly a hard Brexit I’d love to know the logic because I don’t see where the positivity could possibly stem from. Some fairly large companies are already jumping ship from the UK because they’re so risk averse so I don’t see how companies with a fraction of their resources will fare well.

By the sound of it it effects your business by protecting those with disabilities, you just don't want to confirm to safety directives and regulations because it's burdensome to you personally. The EU have some of the most extensive, well thought out and justifiable law when it comes to the area of protecting and providing equality (especially in the workplace and particularly access to the workplace) to persons with disabilities to the point where it is not disproportionate, due to proportionality being one of the general principles that must be considered before enacting these laws.

You may disagree with protecting persons with disabilities over providing SME's easy access to the market but that's a rare auld stance to say the least!

There's also the simple fact that most of the time people blame the EU for this kind of 'meddlesome' it actually turns out to be our government who pushed for the changes or at least helped them along. Sometimes its got duck all to do with the EU. I remember one time someone who was anti-EU was getting wound up but because our products got caught up in new export laws and kept saying to everyone 'bloody EU'. I looked up the export rule he was quoting turned out to be NATO.....

that is absolute nonsense. we have provided services to the disabled customers for 15 years. You havent a clue what youre talking about and you havent a clue about the monstrosity of a website either. none of which makes anything safer. if anything its worse as all companies will spent vastly more time on a vast incomprehensible database that no one understands. its been delayed for years such is its complexity. as for disabled rights and so on. the eu websites mean all disabled children and families lose all their contracts and have to start again with new firms drivers carers. All of which upsets the children, especially autistic children massively. furthermore labour the self proclaimed caring party made it illegal to move disabled hand controls from one vehicle to another even if its the same make and model. this means an extra £500 expense for all disabled people who need hand controls every time they buy a vehicle
