London 2012

She's dropped quite badly today although still has a chance if she recovers.

Nevin won again today and has a fight against a useful looking Mexican in the quarter if he wins though its a semi final and a medal.

Can't wait to see Darren O'Niell tomorrow if he wins it's possible for him to have a fight against Ogogu a GB fighter who the BBC have been really hyping up, O'Niell has beat him twice before though, it would be great for him to win a third time in a row securing an Olympic medal in doing so.
Michael Conlon is fighting a Ghanaian :p. He looks to be extremely reckless though

Gold medal number 1 for New Zealand, with a win the double sculls. I particularly enjoy our tactic of sitting near the back of the field until about the last 500m, then rowing past everyone :D

Great work by NZ!

Noticed South Africa picked up their first ever olympic rowing medals today as well - and gold, at that!

I saw our boys row in the heats and thought they did well but never thought they'd take gold! Wow, 3 medals, all gold. 2 more and this is our best performance yet at any games. We actually do have a contender or two still to come as well. Very exciting and there's a bit of a buzz over here.

I'm looking forward to the start of the track cycling now. Usually quite entertaining. No doubt the hosts will bag a massive amount of medals.

Agh O'Neill is out, the first of our boxers to lose, Ogogo has a tough fight against the German although the home crowd gives a huge advantage in amateur boxing.

Was that the shortest held world record in the history of sport? (GB women's team sprint)
