Absolutely.Yeah, I'd expect Great Britain should win a couple of medal in the men's triathlon. Though the Brownlee brothers are favourites, I wouldn't rule out former world champ Javier Gomez. I quite enjoy watching the Olympic triathlon, possibly due to the fact that New Zealand have had some success in the event in the past (a Gold and Silver in 2004 was particularly memorable!). Jenkins looks like the clear favourite for the womens race, but I wouldn't rule out New Zealand's Andrea Hewitt, who has been very consistent over the last few years....
Triathlon's also one of the sports where anything can/probably will go wrong. Accidental intake of water, collision with another swimmer, chain skipping off, puncture, cramp - can go from a clear gold to a DNF in a second.
