I am not telling anyone to look round, I am asking... I am just reminding people we are a forum about rugby which also has information about the latest Rugby Game. It would be nice to convert some of the new members into regular members, if that wasn't to happen this place would disappear, as would the place to discuss the new games from HB Studios and 505 Games and SIDHE.

Viewed a fair few threads over the last year.. just never activated this until today lol

Yeah I keep looking round the forum mate, probably spend more and more time on here when I'm at home. Some great members on here, with some good knowledge of the game. Will be great to chat with some like minded people.

Can't make us register to find out information then tell us to look around. Its like buying something online then having to deal with all those pesky emails.

Yes they can...in fact they could have put up a lovely signing on fee or other such scheme in place in order to make a few bob from this news..but they didn't.
Asking some of the more intelligent and level headed new posters(as opposed to yourself judging by the big fat red bar above your head) to come join in on the rugby discussion is not a demand however.

I am saying that a lot of newer posters on the website are associating your product which has been advertised as "rugby challenge" is being constantly confused with the old "rugby challenge" of a few years ago which was pure tripe. it is not hard for a newer member to assume they are made by the same studio.

atleast online is gonna make it last. I bought COD MW2 and didnt play it online for months until i had a go with a mate. Literally haven't touched the main game of Black Ops since I got that!!

These have to be a g-up. Stadiums looks quite good, but player models are terrible. Can't say I'm too excited

What I've been wondering about HB studios is, who is directing these guys on how the sport truely is played? That way their gameplay would be a lot better. I was really into Rugby 08 and even though I didnt feel like the game play was great especially single player. When I played mulitplayer against friends it was fun and pretty similar to real rugby. One thing I hope they have fixed is when a penelty kick is taken, the defending team doesnt have to be behind the try line! Gonna rent this one first I think and pre order Sidhe's game. Thanks to the guy who put up screen shots apreciate it.

the graphics don't look that bad. the stadiums definitely look pretty good and the pitch is nice too. the billboards around the ground look pretty good too nice and detailed. HB's engine is certainly capable of looking nice not amazing but it certainly is way more advanced than ps1 graphics. the crowd does look bad but then I think every sports game crowd including the likes of fifa,madden etc look inferior to sidhe's which truly is on the cutting edge of technology. sidhe's engine certainly looks more advanced going by the screenshots from both game but HB's isn't as bad as people are saying it is.

screenshots only tell half of the story the second is with gameplay and features. as some have mentioned the battle with fifa and pro evo especially in the earlier days was never about the graphics but the gameplay. it's only really been recently when pro evo started to really compete graphically with fifa. the competition between fifa and pro evo was very healthy and it has made both dev teams work hard to produce a better game overall, with some years fans sayig fifa is better and others pro evo. This is what competition creates and we need competition to get better rugby games.

The HB guys must be hating this. Years of hard work getting bashed. Poor buggers can only release long distance screens due to licensing restrictions. I feel incredibly lucky to be getting two rugby games on the market this year and I wouldn't want them to be disheartened by any initial negativity.

Seriously, I'm happy we're getting two games. If you raging complainers want perfection, make your own damn game.

The new screens look decent to me, better than the first two posted. Something to consider is that nearly all of Sidhe's shots have been close up and in the action. RWC have all been long shots.

Same suggestion as before... some variation with the crowds... the colors/textures look washed out... Didn't even noticed some of them were wearing team colors at first. Maybe throw some banners or flags in there. It's the RWC!

rugby challenge 2011 looks a lot better but its still too early to say come on hb pull your fingers out and give us some decent screenshots close ups of recognisable players perhaps

This is exactly what I want. If you guys want to see awesome excellent Rugby games in the future. BUY BOTH.

What we're seeing here is Sidhe trying to make the best Rugby Union game yet, and HB making their first Nextgen Rugby game... but tailored specifically for the RWC. I am a willing to bet that we will see a 'full' rugby ***le from HB in the next year or so... assuming this one sells and plays well.
