World Rugby Under 20 Championship

The way they did it there was utterly pointless as well. Why set up a ruck, 0m forwards and box kick to touch?
I accept that he probably doesn't trust his own kicking, but just pass to the FH and let them punt it further.

As for the trial itself, I get what they want to do, but I don't consider the problem they're addressing to be a problem.

Why do they want to do it? For more contestable KOs? I can't think of any other reason and don't find a short kick off to be particularly entertaining.

Erm, Ive missed this - what is the trial?

Kick to touch outside your own 22 gives oppo the throw?

Seems pointless to me.
Indeed.

Safer to go with "a return kick from kick off from inside 22 is the (receiving) kickers throw" (i.e. Not the team that kicked off)

Would mean the kick off is, or should be, always aimed short of 22.

Can't find what happened to Boyd but Bell immediately getting destroyed by his teammate. Gotta avoid scrums as much as possible.

England don't have to worry about making errors because at the moment there's probably a 90% chance they're winning it back in the scrum. Think our backs and phase play look better but we need to find a fix.

Pollock's ruck fringe defence is really poor, whenever he's first man you know Ireland are beating him

Gleeson is so good, Munster are going to have a Leinsteresque backrow soon.

Fallen apart a bit this second half in attack, England putting a lot of pressure on and any mistake is so costly.

A series of really poor exit attempts from Ireland here.
