I've already started making some plans.
Saving up and will start learning the language as well.

Anybody else ?

Me.

I speak perfect Japanese from watching "anime"

Seriously though I'm hoping to be in Asia in 2019 and hoping to spend 3 months in Japan and South Korea.

Yep. The wife and I are planning our 8 year wedding anniversary to make the last three weeks of the cup. Focus on rugby (read as drinking and cheering) at weekends, and spend the weekdays doing some serious trekking and exploring.

Could we please stick with the one thread already existing and linked here ?

"Mr Tigs Man you so middle size please you pay now" isn't going to get you very far at the ticket office though buddy.

I'm really keen, will depend on money of course but would love to. The great thing about Japan is that even if I didn't manage to pick up a single match ticket it's still a country I'd love to go to on holiday.

Highly unlikely, we are relocating from london to NZ next year and it will take a couple of years to find our feet with mortgages and employment and getting the nipper into a school etc so I'll be watching on the googlebox
... and I'm too old.
Fair play to you young fellas heading over there though.

I have warned that Japan is dangerous for several times. But I have changed my opinion after reading various articles. If you are visiting Japan for only weeks and NOT going to Fukushima (Hukusima), the risk of radioactivity is insignificant.

I am also planning to go!
Actually its quite close for my country.
It would be great!

I have a request for everyone coming to Japan by air flight. Please ask "vegetarian, no dairy" in-flight meal.
