What TV Show's are you watching/looking forward to?

Jack Ryan season 4

Pretty meh - very similar to season 3 in that it all felt rushed and overly Hollywood, which is disappointing because season 1 was excellent
Feels like the success of season 1 got them a three season extension but then season 2 being average at best and not being as well received meant they just rushed out 3 and 4 (both released within a year of each other) so the actors can go off and do other things

I'm a big Tom Clancy fan but I have found all his works ruined by the idea to commercialise them and thus taking away what made them good in the first place. I enjoyed season 1 but 2 and 3 were a bit meh. I'll watch season 4 after a raft of other shows.

New season of Futurama started on Disney+ this week - first episode is really good

Didn't realise it had been ten years since the last season!

Good Omens Season 2 dropped today.
So far, there's not magic, and virtually no humour.

There are very few shows I watch live, other than sport
Off the top of my head it's really only Only Connect and Great British Bake Off/whatever cooking show is on BBC at the time (MasterChef, Great British Menu) and Family Guy/American Dad repeats on ITV2 as background noise at night
Even shows like task master I'll usually watch on catch-up

I'm glad that they acknowledged that iPlayers numbers have grown massively - I think there's still a lot of good programming made by terrestrial TV channels, it's just people would rather watch at their own pace these days

Yeh for me live sport and the news is what I generally watch on tv.

The days of sitting around the tv as a family seem to be long gone. What shows out there really pull people around one screen to watch apart from a big sporting event or events of national significants? Not sure I count reality stuff like Celebrity GMOoH. I don't think we've had a proper show where everyone's really talking about it since GOT, barring the last season and that was on Sky.

First episode of Manifest on Netflix. Echoes of Flight MA370 and Lost.
