What games are you playing?

There's quite a few bits and bob's in the "city" (Lichfield is a town, really) I like, so pleasantly surprised with that.
Not played a massive amount but got to level 5 so can have a go at a gym the next time I'm near one - nearest to my flat is the cathedral so I'll try rhat when I drive past later

Yeh biggest downside is not being anywhere near a gym or pokestops have to go in to town for that sort of stuff.

Just caught a 41 CP Venonat.

Andy for running

Single player is quite good yes, it's no Modern Warfare 2 or anything and it is fairly short, but it's unremittingly fun.

It has been interesting for me to see the different pokemon that are often seen in different areas. I was in London last week and they are stacked up on Drowzees, Pidgeys, Spearows, rattatas, goldeens and krabbies. Since getting back in Johannesburg I have seen loads of Doduos, pinsirs, bulbasaurs and horseas. Some are common in both places but some are quite diverse.

Also it seems I got really lucky, I have about 3 gyms and about 7 pokestops on a route I walk/jog in the park opposite my house.

No mans sky out Wednesday, hope my expectations aren't dashed. On pre order so hopefully Amazon send it a day early.

Yeh held of pre-ordering it.

it might be a great game but the Hype has as usual gone it seems. I hate how things get so over hyped (And it's happening more and more) esp Games and Movies to the point that expectations are impossible to meet up to.

Just picked up dragon age inquisition deluxe edition for a fiver in the ps store sale - got to wait about 50years for it to download now

I loved it was the first 3 or 4 hours and then it just became dull and repetitive.

We need more games with swords and knights etc

Advertisers don't care if the sales meet the hype. Disappointment doesn't matter unless it means that people don't buy the next instalment, but they always do, so the cycle continues.

Doom - no real story line, but an absolute blast. Can get a bit repetitive though.

Replaying the Last of Us on PS4 after picking up a copy for £20. Still a great game, but despite upgraded resolution and 60fps, I think graphically/aesthetically it pales a bit in comparison after playing Uncharted 4, which was built from scratch for the PS4. Whereas TLOU was originally made for the PS3.

Rumours are TLOU2 will be released for PS4 after the actor who voices Nathan Drake let slip post UC4 was released. If so, can't wait.

No Man's Sky.

Nope. They still haven't figured out how to make a good survival game.

Good elements (mainly borrowed from Mass Effect, if we're being honest), but I can't see myself putting too much more effort into it.... I can't see where it's going.

A more robust/tanglible "story" or missions/quests would probably have changed that, but actually figuring out what the point of the game is has been very difficult... and there is little to suggest that there is one around the corner.

Assassins Creed IV: Black Flag and Metal Gear Solid V: the Phantom Pain. Both quality games picked up 2nd hand.

Savage resurrection. An interesting online game where all but one of the players are trying to destroy the enemy's base, while one player is playing a base building rts with the other players as units. It's a fun mix and the third game in the series.

Wait what, they remade Savage? People actually playing it saulan?

Yep. It's been remade and is on Steam. The pop isn't huge, but there are people on their and there is a server list so you can just join the populated servers. It came out over the weekend. I have been pleasantly surprised at how good the gun play has been even with a ping of 170-200. I've essentially stuck to sniper weapons and have been doing really well with it.

Obduction

****ing yesh!

It's basically a Myst game in Unreal Engine 4 0 made by the guy that created Myst.

Got my N64 out and playing GoldenEye and Perfect Dark

Currently playing:
- FIFA16 (a seasoned competitor owning 14, 15)
- Warframe (very impressed)
- Injustice: Gods Among Us
- Need for Speed Rivals (very disappointed)

All on PS4

Am awaiting for FIFA17 (obv) and Gran Turismo Sport. Have an itch to buy Springbok Rugby Challenge 3, but still think it's too pricey.
