What games are you playing?

Currently playing:
- FIFA16 (a seasoned competitor owning 14, 15)
- Warframe (very impressed)
- Injustice: Gods Among Us
- Need for Speed Rivals (very disappointed)

All on PS4

Am awaiting for FIFA17 (obv) and Gran Turismo Sport. Have an itch to buy Springbok Rugby Challenge 3, but still think it's too pricey.

Yeah I'm waiting for FIFA 17 too. Just think R1000.00 is a but too pricey for it.

Currently playing GTA V and Mortal Kombat XL on PS4. Got GTA V for a pretty good price during the PSN winter sale a few weeks back.

Not if you have been saving for it since FIFA16 ;). Plus, as a huge fan of the premier league I feel it is well worth the money considering how EA tries to keep the game content relevant to the clubs & player performances throughout the season.

I played a bit of Mortal Kombat too - the developers really took everything to the next level there. It's also the same engine they used for Injustice (hence the inclusion of Scorpion). I played GTA on PS2 last, I bet you're having loads of fun with it!

I'm very excited for Gran Turismo Sport though, it's the 1st time this ***le is getting launched on next gen platform and the trailers are sick.

I don't get peeps who pay full price for the latest FIFA or Pro Evo £40-£50. Will it be that much different to the year before (apart from updated player names and kits)? I always check my local CEX shop and usually the previous year's version is around a third of the price of the most up to date one. Two year old version can be picked up for less than a fiver.

Battlefield 1 Beta

First thoughts are - it's ****ing gorgeous.

Don't know whether I'll find it interesting, but it looks astonishingly good.

i tend to get sports games every other year unless big changes happen.

Generally
Madden one year, Fifa the next.

Played the ***anfall 2 tech test last week really enjoyed it, much better than the first one so far.
Playing the battlefield 1 Beta really fun game.

Trouble with Battlefield is it is EA and EA fecked over Battlefront and will no doubt do the same to BF1.

@ratsapprentice yeh the play ability factor is the main concern i love Bad company as i could play it so much i have a feeling this will be the same as SW:BF all style lack of depth.

I agree completely.

I adore BF 1942, BF2 and BC... but the last few have been dull modern EA tosh.

I usually only get one sports game per sport per console generation, that's enough for me. Unless they have something truly new like some of the NBA 2k games a couple of years ago. Although FIFA does have modes nowadays that only work during the current season.

Played abit of the beta tonight and enjoyed it more the longer i played it.
Can only play the same map so many times though.
One big flaw for me is how Dice have changed the scoring of conquest with scoring up instead of down so no more ticket bleed which means no more of those late comebacks which in a tight game is what makes conquest so good.
Hopefully they'll revert back

See Witcher 3 GoTY was out yesterday it's a hell of a game for those interested in getting a new game.

Witcher 3 and Bloodbourne are prob my 2 favourite games that has come out on this Gen of consoles.

Really like Battlefield 1
I'm pretty easily won over with games, though, and loved battlefront despite its limitations.

Holding out hope that BF1 will be more polished and more of a proper game though (and I think it will as they've since come out and said Battlefront was rushed to get it out with the film)

This month's PS+ games came out today,
Having a ton of fun playing Badland, just a fun little side scroller physicsy game. No story or anything, no menus, just straight in. Could almost be a mobile game.

Going to give Journey a go this weekend, heard so many good things about it - apparently the best way to do it is with headphones and just settle yourself down and go through it in one go (2-3hrs, apparently)

Badland is a mobile game...

Free weekend of Overwatch on consoles (9th-12th), so I've just downloaded that/am booting it up.
Big fan of TF2 and I've heard this is vaguely similar, so looking forward to it.

Going through the Baldur's Gate series of RPGs from the 90s - they've released an updated bunch for graphics, and consistency etc. Still a great game, and probably the best group-oriented RPG I've played.
Biggest bonus; I can play with my Mrs sat next to me at the kitchen table - both playing the same game (if only Elder Scrolls could bring in co-operative play - and sort their levelling system)
