Western Force v British & Irish Lions - 5/6/13

does this mean the Aussies will start dominating the scrums now ?!....:p

very, very sorry for Healy. Hopefully it's not a tour ending injury...just a scare.

Certainly settled the debate as to who should kick that's for sure!

The man don't miss

Fairly satisfactory, apart from Best's throwing - thought the first overthrow the tail player should have been higher but second one not good, Murray's dillying and of course Healy's injury. Real shame that.

One thing I do love about the Lions is how much better some players look when taken out of their international teams... Heaslip's become a marauding carrier again, Croft's following up the ball and getting stuck in, Tuilagi is passing accurately and sensibly... yeah, this ain't great opposition, but I feel a lot of players are showing what they can do, and a lot of it is good.

You aren't suggesting Vunipola is a better scrummager than Healy are you?
In general? No.
Today? Looks that way so far.

People have off days, it's no secret, and Healy wasn't fairing massively well in the scrum (not poorly, just not amazingly).
Thought he was playing well in the loose, good defence and strong carrying - hopefully his injury isn't bad and he can pull through for the rest of the tour.

Heaslip has had a hugely impressive half of rugby.
Agreed - really good half.
Think the whole back row has played very well - it's massively different to the backrow put out vs Baabaas in terms of playing style. Don't envy Gatland having to pick 3/4 of these players for the tests, each and everyone is in with a good shout.

Loads of good and bad points! The whole backrow is playing fantastically, if Warburton wasn't captain I think he might not even make the 23 with Tipuric and SOB.

Halfpenny's boot has been pretty incredible.
