Warm Up Match 6: Waikato Chiefs v British & Irish Lions (Hamilton)

Its different because the attacking player has landed on the tackler. Not entirely the tacklers fault so unplayble. very simple basic stuff even you should understand.

That's rubbish ! Do you dream these up or did you just think of it now to back up your poor argument ?

I really like your rugby knowledge on the laws but are you gonna come up with something productive today ? I wouldn't mind if you were complaining about both teams but you are looking pretty biased right now ....

Up yours. You don't get to dictate what I post. If you don't like what I post, put me on ignore, then you won't have to read it

And i call myself a rugby fan.... Who puts rugby on a tuesday ffs, lol.

Anyone played themselves into, or out of, a Lions jersey?

With the platform that the Lions have had, set piece dominance and a fair bit of possession, a 7 point lead is poor really. A good defence, again shutting down a NZ team. A yellow card and, an unlucky maul and couple of silly penalties getting in the way of what is another good forward performance.

Exactly its not good enough to beat the AB's by a long way. The only thing stopping the chiefs from scoring here is mistakes by second stringers who have harldly played a game all year and they are still within 10 points of the second best players from the UK. The AB's wont make these mistakes.

Have you ever heard of Kristian Dacey ?

Sorry, I'm not comparing this team with the one on the weekend, or the type of performance you will see from NZ or the Lions. What the Lions have as a whole is a strong set piece and defence, and that's developed in depth across all of the games. It's a theme that's happened in the camp. With the right approach that can stop any backline. With a platform the Lions have a chance.

With these games, you take each opposition as they come and develop your game as a team. These are the Lions seconds and it's good to see Daly and Williams playing well, in case of need of call ups. I'm not really sure how close the Chiefs team is to a NZ is important in this sort of game.
