Wales vs England - 16/03/2013

Glad his back. His more likely to play a long pass, missing out a man (*cough Barritt) and get it outwide to Croft quicker. Hoping Croft has a stormer. Plan A seems to be Lineout dominance and territory play.
I meant Farrell senior, our defence coach.

Not sure about that. If Warburton and Tipuric were to be such a potent force at the breakdown Howley would of picked them sooner.

It's been called for a while, everytime they've played together as a 6/7 combo it worked quite well to be fair, last week at Scotland it went fairly well. It was called for sooner but Howley chose to play Shingler / Jones there who are more natural 6's.

Wish they'd stick some artificial turf down at the Millenium Stadium. As much as it takes to sort it out. I'm no groundsman but surely that would sort it out. Win-Win for flowing rugby. Roofed stadium, decent none-wet field.

Howley has come out and said that he got the selection wrong in the Autumn/Ireland game: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/rugby-union/21796210.

At least he's learning.

This combination has all the ingredients to be great. Sam is quite a physical player, very physical in the tackle, explosive ball carrier, a good support runner, and most of all very strong over the ball. Tipuric is such a footballer, all the skills you could ever wish for in an openside. He uses his technique and speed to secure turnovers, basically getting in position and getting his hands on the ball before any opposition player can clear him out. He's got a good tackling technique as well, although needs to be careful about lifting the leg. His more physical than his physique appears as well.

Apparently it's in the works. It won't be a fully synthetic pitch like Sarries have, but more likely a hybrid like at the Liberty stadium.

Ah thanks for that never saw that. But you can kinda see his logic with playing a more natural 6 rather than 2 7's but hopefully this will go well

really aggrivates me people bumming up to farrell -.- hes solid but the real future at 10 for england should most certainly be burns

Can someone please tell me why we have just had a little **** head screaming Come on Wales on an English Chanel (BBC)?

They wouldn't need the roof if they had artificial turf which I am not against from what I have seen at Barnet.............of course, if we then had the roof closed as well, we could always also play 6N as touch rugby with no scrums too and perhaps reduce the numbers per team to 7?!

Getting nervous now, bit sick even. Cant imagine those playing

Abit over the top. Would be nice to see something different.

3 points for Walsh as there was a double knock on the Welsh 22 and the scrum action should have taken place there not in the English 22.............
