Wales v England

9. Phillips
10. Jones
11. Shane
12. Hook
13. Davies
14. Roberts
15. Byrne

Will he do that?
Will he ****.

He's alright, has a lot of potential (imo) but is pretty untested/raw
He isn't getting regular game time at Ospreys (I think he has more Wales caps than Ospreys ones? that's what Wikipedia is saying, but I don't know how recently it was updated) so gets most of his rugby in the Welsh Prem. - though he has played 7s for Wales as well
It's like taking an 18yr old from Bedford Blues and chucking them into the England squad.

I just thought people were pretty complementary after his debut, after which he disappeared. He won't be starting, but the sad thing is there will be more injuries to come. Guess Wales better hope it doesn't come to Shane Williams and leave them with a Stoddart and Prydie combo.

He did well on debut, but he's not as good as Halfpenny, or even North, so I'd rather him than either of them :p

That's what I'd go for too. Whilst Stoddart (always thought it was StoddarD!) is a great offensive player, he has his weaknesses as Draggs pointed out above. However, by that reasoning Shane Williams would never have gotten his chance. Henry left him out for a few seasons because of his weaknesses in defense, but he's more than made up for any weaknesses with his attacking game. The problem is that Stoddart simply doesn't seem to know how to tackle properly, something at least Shane has always done well. Stoddart simply puts his body on the line to stop a player, and is one of reasons why he's had so many injuries in his short career to date. I'll leave that decision to Gatland (and Edwards), but Roberts on the wing makes alot of sense imo.

Emagine being a defender and on every attacking move Wales had Hook and Davies in midfield with Byrne and one of Shane or Roberts running from deep ready to take the ball! That sounds like a nightmare to defend against imo.

One more thing, please no Hook at fb, it's his worst position by far. I'd prefer to see Priestland start at fb before Hook, at least he can run decent running angles from deep! Byrne will start though, I see no reason why not.

Edit: Prydie no longer called up either. Halfpenny expected to be back within two weeks, so no need.

This happens.

Between Gatland and Davies' comments, the ****** up Friday night crowd will end up behaving more like soccer fans then remembering where they are.

Bravo, numbnuts.

So Cueto and Barnes' comments are fine. 'Cos their English, riiiight?

'Despite my three defeats there, I'd still say the Millennium Stadium is my favourite venue in the world to play rugby,' admits the 31-year-old, a veteran of England's all-singing and dancing back three that also features the new kids on the block, Ben Foden and Chris Ashton.
'There's not a louder crowd in the world, they are closer to the pitch than in most other venues, and I would imagine playing on a Friday night will further intensify what is always a fantastic atmosphere.
'Will I be intimidated by this? It's why you play the game, isn't it? It's why you go through all the knocks, all the injuries and all the lows. If you're intimidated by the prospect of Friday night in Cardiff, then you shouldn't be playing the game.
'I love it all, even the singing before the game begins

Fail

Daily mail is so ridiculous, going on about how the omens are not good for wood. He's five years older than Tait was, stop scare mongering

What do you expect from Chris Foy?

That England bench he's named gives me the shits. Hape aside the XV is okay, but I really don't like that bench.
