can you adjust the tempermant of the ref, ie: in the NHL series you can make the ref less likely to call penalties or increase the strickness of the ref.

Can you change the ruck tactic on the fly, once you have already chosen, example: you choose forward support, you plan on going up the middle, you see your wing out wide open, can you then choose to change to first player to ruck, to help contain the ball at the ruck out wide? Do you know what I mean? I think that would add tremendously strategy and skill to the game play and to ruck strategy, or is it simply not that deep? AJ if you see this question you can chime in. I am hoping the rucking system with the tactics makes it deeper then what most people realize.

Thanks for all the info.
Did any one playing the game notice the above, about the tactics in the rucks?
Rc showed some pretty good multi player tackles, is this in the game?
Did you guys attempt the hand in the ruck often?
Is quick ball for both sides of the ruck(offensive and defensive, is it, the first person to push the button, or does it just pop up for one side of the ruck only?

Well I did beat Rob at a drop kick challenge with Andy Sheridan... but we won't mention that!

Nope you can't, it varies on the Easy, Medium and Hard settings. You can take out knockons, remove the offside line for more difficulty and there were a few other things as well

So now you see why, I was so anxious to show how many people are interested in Rugby in USA,:) I want it released here just as bad as you do in Canada, and if it is released in Canada it will most likely be released in the US. I think I did read some where that it has been confirmed for North American release, one of the writers that attended the game trials was told it was going to be released, now the problem is with so much ping ponging back and forth between RC and RWC, I can't remember which on was confirmed by this writer.:)

so was the wales players likenesses accurate? so what happens if henson is in the 30 man squad? also are national anthems in?

I have not read it anywhere but there was a new release on the Rugby Canada Website talking about this game. I can't seem them pumping RWC on the Rugby Canada website if you couldn't get it in Canada. Now the US maybe different, b/c The Eagles are licensed to RC.

This is a huge thing in my books... to know that the AI can make mistakes and be punished for them will make for realistic scoring opportunities from the boot, something that was sorely lacking in the past.

I only hope its true in the highest difficulty aswell, as opposed to the past where the game basically cheated and as opposed to increasing their tactical ability in defense and attack, they simply owned every scrum & ruck, never to be turned over, easily/always turning you over, made no mistakes in defense to leave you with any real-to-life scoring opportunities and yet never increased their ability to score.
