There is a variant where you can play "held touch".

In this you must have at least grabbed the player with two hands, and then you can call "held". It instantly enforces a tackle and stops weaker players from getting hurt trying to tackle ox's.

I'm all for tackle style games too, but the embarrassment of a front rower getting done in touch is nothing compared to someone getting hurt playing tackle.

We'll have to see how durable everyone is when we meet up. I'd rather have everyone participating and not just the hardy, (or maybe fool-hardy) .

Anyone got a ps2 for "Guitar Hero" I have not seen a ps2 since before the Romans entered Briton but I have always wanted to play on it. 21 years of Air guitar has gotten a bit stale :lol:
