anyone got any decent programs/codec ideas i can use?

How much space have you got to record onto? Never done live recording with pc so can't help there sorry :(

currently around 200gig, but then someone *cough*probably you*cough* could take them home and compress them and such for the comp :)

capturing live feed wouldnt be much different than capturing video... would it?

i havnt got a clue, i wouldnt mind getting it down to a resonable size

Take footage home to post on here you mean? ie the final, best tries etc?

Yeah sweet as I can sort footage out once it's recorded :D

I am off to camp :bana: and won't be back on here till Monday.......next week I will write up possible draws for the round robin based on 6-20 players...so yeah....I'll write up 14 draws with letters representing people for now. The draws will also be based on 3 projectors going at once. That way we won't have to waste time trying to figure it out on the day when we count who is there.......we will simply pull out the template and put pour names in the gaps.

To understand the round robin.......we play everyone twice as explained at the end of last month (check the previous page).

I will be arriving later on Friday at the comp......I heard the S.I people will be there early Friday to inspect the stadium and to check out the honeys......what about everyone else?????

ill be there um.. all the time and so will danny :p

Very good at least there's 6 of us minimum then. Hopefully over the next few days, weeks, people can confirm their coming, and maybe if we post address of venue (or PM to anyone interested?) in week leading up, some may just turn up...

They'll have to be brave, after all there's a guy who's had his own personal trainers and knows moves that most ordinary mortals will never discover.

I think that was about when the "should I or shouldn't I" crowd switched off.

Well I did say I was joking............ :p

I think most people would only play in something like this if it was feasible to them....location close by them. Money always seems to be the killer.

The main reason for the possible low turnout is that this site isn't really a serious gaming site even if we are rugby fanatics and will play any new rugby game. If the site was purely EASports2006 Forum then we would have a big turnout. Less than a month after R2006 came out a lot of people stopped talking about it and the threads dried up. Real rugby on TRF is what most people are really into. If we were organising half price tickets to the ASB stand at Eden Park of an AB game then we would see people pushing more to come.

Hey but never mind....even if only a few of us turn up......theoretically we love playing R2006 and are looking for new people to play against....if we can enjoy that experience of playing more new people then the tournament should be a success regardless of whether we win or lose.

The main objective I like to see in this tournament is that we meet TRF members in the flesh. Of course we are playing xbox....but seeing and meeting new people and even possibly new members who may sign up that week will be great. I for one have NEVER met anyone on this site ever! This is very sad considering I live in NZ's biggest city.

3 weeks to go

well i have met danny :) and i know mertsisagod, i got him to join

so other than that i havnt met anyone :)
