TRF EA Rugby '06 NZ Tournament

sounds like you have so many moves up your sleeve GG that you are just itching to tell us all about them, like telling your mates about the ner toy you got etc.

I dont think people should be put off just because they dont think they will be able to compete. The weay i see this tourney is that we will all get an insight into the many ways to play the rugger 06, and if it means getting smoked by the fancy GG moves then so be it, im sure at the comp well be asking how did you do that and im certain well all be willing to share.

With regard to the trash talking each other whilst playing - this has to be allowed, obviously racial slurs and direct personal attacks etc will be a no-no but general trash talk makes the game funny and interesting.

And at the end of each game you shake hands, have a beer and start trash talking your next opponent.

Gaming is supposed to be fun - win or lose

yeah i think this will be a bit of fun, i am very competitive when playing games as well, though i am not into trash talking while playing as i have enough trouble concentrating on the game rather than the oposition. most of the time if i am playing against someone who is trash talking i just block them out anyway. then right at the end when the game is won or lost, then i just let out a yeah, and thats about it or a F*** but thats mainly cause i lose, and am sick of it

So I can put into the rules sheet (which will come out August sometime), that trash talking and mocking of opposition is fine, although no racial slurs (in any direction) or insults that use swear words like calling your opposition a f**kwit and the like.

So for example calling someone an "orangutan-rap*st" is acceptable? :lol:

Just seeing where the boundaries are.......


Also, Danny would it be acceptable to change the tourney venue officially to your place? By all accounts the Woosaah has said it would suit very well as venue, even if our crowd crash at Woosaahs.

Woosaah - might have to wait till next week for a game buddy as i need to have some family time as ive been gaming last two weeks pretty solid.
Ill check with my boss tho - she may let me play games this thursday night.

If i get to play woosaah during tournament ill be talking as much as possible - definitley will give me an edge against him....

So, with it being internationals, are we now any closer to knowing where we're staying? (sounded like woosaahs there before - which is all good)

Agree with Danny too in that if GG turns out he isn't full of sh*t and is anywhere near as good as he says he is, it can be a kind of training camp as well as tournament, as well as meet and greet and **** up, have I missed anything?
