TRF EA Rugby '06 NZ Tournament

While I think of it, how are we 'recording' this upcoming prestigious event? A simple idea could be to have the Xbox plugged into a video recorder then onto the projector. That way a tape can just be started every 3 hours or so, and would allow a try of the tournament to be chosen, and then captured and posted on here. Or even a selection of tries could be posted and voted for? Just an idea...

thats doable, i am thinking of having my video camera roaming around for anyone to use at the torny, also my dig cam should be around as well. unless anyone doesnt like those ideas

Go for it I say, if people object they can be edited out

Could be handy to settle any disputes too, although highly doubt any will arise with the fine specimens we've gathered for our tournament so far...

Well I am calling out ANYONE in Auckland as I need a "wider" multiplayer experience before the comp. Need some people up here to give me a hand with experience.

:bravo: ...all part of pre match prep.......the papers/media are the carriers of International mind games betwen real teams.....this thread is the carrier of the mind games or our upcoming comp :lol:

These mind games are great.....like acting act (simulating) the real life carry on of International coaches before our teams come together for the first time! Should add more intrigue to the comp!

As they say.....rugby is 10% physical....90% mental......don't you agree?

Danny seems to be great at psycho warfare........he managed to make me divulge a bit of info about defending grubbers even though I wanted to keep it secret.....he also seemed to have gotten you to reveal quick hands from a forward.

The All Blacks.....yeah they are useless..........or are they???? :lol:.....do you believe my rep on this forum....or do you follow your instinct and see me as some former streetkid from South Auckland who knows nothing? B) Am I for real or is it a bluff? Will you be calm when you play me or will you be shaking :lol:

Mental pressure is not as easy as people think it is...........only when we have been under it can we appreciate the pressure that our AB's are under come World Cup time.....then maybe we can cut them some slack.

So....how many of us here have been under pressure in a gaming environment? How will each of us perform under pressure? Who will crack? Who will rise to th occassion?

i have had previous competition gaming experience, coming 5th in australiasia wasnt bad. so i have had gaming pressure, ok i was 15 and all i wanted to do was go to the MCG so it didnt really bother me i just wanted to get past the first round, which i did comfortably. i lost in xtra time my mum was proud and i got free stuff 2.

i think the abs are a good team to play as but the challenge is finding a team that you can play against them i think.

Danny, Internationals ok for tonight? i think so anyway. you can be the abs if you want, i am gonna go hunting for a team

and GG, my rep is higher than yours, no idea how, but it is... for now

No mind play here GG, you wanted to share the information, i just gave you the opportunity to do so. You might want to start practising with S14/Euro teams coz the poll is leaning that way so far.

S14 with no stars would mean that we can use our favourite home teams.

The southern boys could use their beloved Highlanders and Gaysaders, and us northern folk could use the canes, chiefs and boo's

the comp i was in over here was a bit of a have though, but meh ill take it

whatever is chosen it doesnt really matter, it will be even either way i think.

just had 3 series best of 3 games against danny.

first aussie(me) vs ireland(danny).
I smash him first game, dont remember the score but it was something like 40 odd to 20 odd.
second and 3rd games ireland win, cant remember or care of those scores.

second series fiji(me) vs samoa.
fiji win 3-0 i think (dont remember samoa winning) but also i got called to do work as well.

final series canterbury(me) vs Wellington
first game i tottally humiliate him
second game i get tottally humiliated.
third game 21-14 to danny.

its so much fun.

Also after seeing dannys setup i sugest moving it to his place, i know he is out in upper hutt but he has a much bigger place easily fit to projectors there (as long as one of them isnt his crappy projector) and its about 25 minutes drive to town if you wanna get into town.

his place is pretty awesome, definatly worth a think about if none of use dont mind.
