A good move. I always like him as centre. He played against us before and was handful. A big strong ball carrier.
Grenoble will have nice Irish connections all over now

Herbst is now being followed on twitter by a physio at Ulster rugby. Is he a tighthead or a loosehead?

I can understand Adam Macklin wanting to move. He's nearly 25 and behind Ricky Lutton, Declan Fitzpatrick and possibly Wiehahn Herbst on the depth chart. He needs game time to improve his scrummaging.

Paddy McAllister has had awful luck with injuries. He definitely has the talent to go further.
