Boris Stankovich to NGD. 34 but still a better prop than what we have had for the last... decade.
Really? Any credibility in that, because it'd be an excellent signing for them.

Rumours that Clermont have signed Nick Abendanon
Devoto can cover fullback when Watson's away, too.
True, I think he is seen as an inside centre for the future.

I always thought he was underrated by the English media. A solid all round full back both in attack and defence, if not as eye catching as some others. Unlucky to be in a pretty good era for English full backs, but I think the chances he got might have been very different had he been with Leicester or Saracens.
I think he could be a decent solid signing for Clermont especially since Buttin will likely get regular France call ups soon enough. Abendanon should be good enough for Clermont to know that they have a safe enough option to go to in international or injury periods. Only 27 as well so should get longer out of him than Byrne.
Interesting looking at the probable Clermont recruitment for next season.
Guildford for Sivivatu
Davies for King
Abendanon for Byrne
Vahaamahina for Hines
Lee for Vermeulen
Kolelishvili for Vosloo
Ulugia for Cabello
Not bad signings at all, but not nearly as World XV type like Toulon. Will be interesting to see if Clermont will be proved right or not in letting older players like Sivivatu (32), King (33), Byrne (34), Hines (37) and Vosloo (35) go next season. Will Clermont have timed it right as they decline or will they still all be class?
Was it not rumoured if Wilkinson resigns then Toulon will abandon their attempts for Halfpenny
NGD not offering him a new contract. **** lyn, he is the anti-Turner, releasing everybody.Sam Parry (Dragons) ---> Ospreys
Where did you get the info on Vosloo leaving? That would be a mistake, imo, he's been playing really well. He's said recently that he's not retiring (and I really can't see him leaving Auverge, ever).Kolelishvili for Vosloo

Strange signings as I'd thought Ulster were well equalled with backrow and Robbie Robinson I think would struggle to get in the Ulster backlineThe Ulster rumour drive is going into overload, all cryptic clues and nothing solid, but Keegan Daniel's name is getting mentioned repeatedly. Think our other Sharks targets haven't materialised.
edit: Boric and Robbie Robinson also being mentioned. That said, I've been told to expect a surprise.
Fabien Barcella -----> Tigers (don't know how reliable the source is but when we sign French players we tend to go for two, Dupuy and Kayser, Mele and Schuster).
Boris Stankovich ------> Newport

Dont get me wrong. Boric I can understand.Really? I think they'd be great signings and I can see logic. Boric is a like for like replacement for Muller and is a big upgrade. Daniel is a superb player and can slot straight into our back row and would improve it. Robinson is a great player too and could really make a starting berth for the chiefs this year. I could see him coming into Ireland team in 3 years, unless he's not allowed? Anyone heard any other rumours involving Irish clubs?
