Transfers rumours

Possibly Tiger's worried about Kelly being called up more for Engkand?

Rumours
Diamond luring Langdon to Worcester also states that Diamond is mainly targeting Eastern Europeans
Sean O'Brien to retire
Vannes is after Leiua
Clermont have signed Nathan Hughes
Nadolo being linked to Reds and Waratahs
Tigers have signed Phil Cokanasigna
Exeter signing south african back rower Aidon Davis
Aaron Hinckley to Saints
Quirke and Redd to sign long term contracts to Sale (Was that ever in doubt?)
Cips to Potentially stay at Bath along with a south africa 10 coming in

I'm starting to think he'd be a good coach; so I'd actually be really happy with him staying on in a player-coach capacity. Bailey and Worboys absolutely sing his praises for developing their games.

Saffer 10 is Bosch

Bosch could do well in the Premiership IMO. Although he's not the kind of 10 I'd expect van Graan to have gone for at all TBH. A mercurial 10 and a pragmatic coach who likes 10-man rugby don't sound like an obvious match.

More than happy if we get Langdon, just nervous as to who these Eastern Europeans are, would be nice to have some names to look at.

Will also add that it looks like Vailanu is off to Glasgow

There's a definite thought around Bath that, with the reduced cap, and reduced squad sizes, everyone needs to be multi-position; which TBH, seems to be the way the game is going anyway. so a FH who's just as good at FB is worth something.
Beyond that, I think "FH for 10 man rugby" has 2 options; you either go the Farrell route of kicking for territory until well into the opposition half, and tackle everything that moves (if you happen to be in the right place for once) - or you go for a mercurial FH, temper his instincts a bit, but you're relying on individual magic from the backs as and when they get the ball, because they get no time training with an attack coach - which has pretty much been Bath's philosophy for the last 5-6 years :(

No. With his off field past.

That's exactly why he'd be a good coach, he's gone through the fame going through his head, being a young player with loads of pressure, terrible media attention etc so he can help young players on that front, whilst also undeniably having one of the best understanding of how to formulate a good backs attack as anyone about

Yep - don't judge the adult by the actions of the child

Bu...but he said he wouldn't be raiding Sale

Apparently Akker has two years on his contract, according to someone on the Sale fans forum - which definintely explains Langdon looking elsewhere
I think that some players signed secret extensions during COVID, apparently the DuPreez twins, who are supposed to be out of contract this season, also have multiple years left
