Transfers rumours

Could be an excellent signing for someone. Now he has the residency, there's not really a major incentive for him to stay at Benetton.

Are We?? Ohh that's exciting... Slighly surprised as we have Odogwu, Bassett, Kilbrigie, Watson, Mehson, Minozzi. However, i'm fairly sure Watson is out of contract, Odogwu will move to centre with Fekitoa likely off and Minozzi not doing much either at wing/fullback.
 
Ultan Dillane joining ROG in Toulon and possibly 1 or 2 more Irish based joining him.
Cloete rumoured to be going to France.
 
Still think Cloete is a fantastic player. Can give away penalties but his jackling ability is unmatched. That said Hodnett and Kendellen need to be backed. O'Donoghue can also do a job there and I suspect O'Sullivan could too based on his build.

On Dillane he will be a loss, but it comes with the territory for lads who are in their prime but are fully aware they won't get near an Irish jersey and see younger guys passing them out. He has a real shot to shine and win silverware with a side like Racing or La Rochelle, will earn more money and get to experience something new. Fair play to him.
 
Yeah it's a loss for Ireland and, more so, Connacht but probably the right decision for Dillane and his family.

After everyone being terrified about locks other than Ryan coming through there seems to he a good amount there.
 
Daly is a tidy player to be honest. Has racked up 60 caps out west so seems to be in the form of his life. Kicks goals too from memory.
Obviously a step down from De Allende I wonder will there be another signing at 13 ?
 
Daly is a good enough player, but a huge step down. I'm not convinced he's really any better than Scannell. We played Farrell at 12 a bit, I would love to see him played there and then blow the bank on a classy 13.

Not a huge amount being produced in terms of centers for us. I think Sean French could be good but he hasn't had his shot. Coombes at 13 also looked really promising. I'd love to see us have our bruiser at 12 and a guy with pace at 13.

On Tom Daly - That only a rumour at this stage.

ROG isn't really raiding Ireland more Irish fringe guys realising if there no chance of international contracts etc the there a lot of money to be made in a new pasture.

Cloete is still a very good 7 but is just in a traffic jam of backrowers.

Would add in DDA is not fully gone yet although it is very likely there is a twist left on this.
 
Papali'i off from Connacht.

Annoying to be losing so many players whilst improving but on this one seems like one of those flat track bullies types good v some of the smaller URC packs but when it's time v the big packs either goes missing or gets cited.

Oh really? Hadn't seen that one. Agree completely though he's a flat track bully, good carrier which Connacht are seriously light on, but the other parts of his game are average and on top of that the guy's discipline is shocking. He's cost them a bunch of times.
