We were originally after Skinner/Hill apparently and Ioane so maybe Adam Byrne and Kruis would match.

From an Irish POV would be sad to lose Adam Byrne. So much unrealised potential. Cooney is class and he'd rise to the top of the Top 14 or Prem. Ross Byrne will be a good player at Prem level too. Archy is easily solid enough to lock down the scrum in England. So underrated and we would miss him. He will genuinely change the fortunes of some **** english side.

Fissler saying in the rugby paper a club is being investigated for a cap breach (top 6 and not Sarries), but doesn't really give much info outside that. I feel that until other media picks it up and info comes out for me it's a case of routine checking.

I note the snide comment 'easily solid enough to lock down the scrum in England'.

I wouldn't be so confident of that considering he's more used to locking down the scrum against the B teams that play in the majority of URC games.

Bear in mind that England's current locks include Ewels and Hill!
