Transfers rumours

Aseali Tikorituma is set to be announced as Irish latest signing tomorrow.
 
I've said it before, but it bears repeating... Roberts to Quins is as perfect a signing as they could make.

According to the coaches at the Sale fans night thing last night we're signing an ex All Black lock/backrow (I'm imaging an ageing one cap wonder, no idea who) and also an "experienced international 9" on a 1 yr deal: Stringer?

In fairness ye could do a lot worst than sign Stringer. Still has that majestic pass.
 
Apparently Alberto Di Marchi has signed a pre-agreement with Treviso to return next season.

I got L'equippe with one saying Sean Cox to the Leicster Tigers back a few years ago
 
I know the Faletau to Bath rumour's been around for a while, but he's now passed the deadline to sign a dual contract which would seem to suggest he's moving abroad at the end of his current contract - and all the papers seem to be referring to him as "Bath target Taulupe Faletau". Personally I think we'd be better off looking for a world class second row, woudn't sniff at him though
 
Sounds like Leicester cannot afford to pay a marquee type player now with the stadium development going which is costing £8 million.

Sounds like Leicester might have to start looking for a owner.

Bath don't really need an 8, or is Houston leaving? Anyway, I thought Ford wanted to try Burgess there?

Houston's not leaving as far as I know, although we have been "linked" with Vermeulen and Morgan at different times - either Mike Ford or The Meeja seem to think Bath are looking for a marquee at 8. Burgess has been talked about there (I personally thought that would be his best position early in his development), but I think (early days though it is) his performances at 6 seem to strongly suggest that's his long-term position.
