Transfers Rumours

From what I've seen of Casey he's rough but there is definite potential there. Lineout work and loose play is fantastic, I think he needs to work on some of the harder edges to a Hookers role though, more impact at the break down and tight carries. Plenty of potential but not there yet, Munster may be well served by signing a top Hooker from elsewhere. Moore would be a good addition to any squad I reckon. Not sure if he'd be the type to head abroad though, but given the new Aussie rules that may tempt him.

I'd honestly love to see more of Moore's comically bald head in these parts, he'd also make Munster's front row a hell of a lot less ugly... Turnip munching front rows aren't blessed when it comes looks.

I reckon it would be fun to start a random transfer rumour like Victor Vito to Ulster, post it on a few comment sections and fan sites and see how long it would take to be quoted as "a source close to Ulster rugby" in the Independant.

They did that on RugbyNetwork, and Neil Fissler reported it as a "done deal" not long after.
It's why i trust very little he says.

Is he any good?? On paper it's a nice signing. Young but with a bit of Super Rugby experience under his belt, not really involved in the international scene so we wont have to worry about losing him every international period and in a position we're going to become quite weak in (I'd like to see at least one of Reds and Boss pack it in after the WC.)

Nic Groom won't be missed. He has a reasonable pass and can take the odd gap but neither especially great and then there is the fact he is prone to turning over possession and has a rubbish boot. If you don't need your scrummie tokick ever he'll be a ddecent option as backup for most clubs. I just hope him and Catrakilis leaving means we get in some new blood. We'reaalmost forced too.

Given the recent Leinster game plan and kick it and hope for the best this seems like a poor match.

Rugby World and a number of informal sourced close to the club are reporting that Roberts to Quins is on. All good at our end, just some admin re his release from Racing Metro that needs to be sorted.
