Transfers rumours

He's a very strong player, but also combines it with a lightning sidestep. He's too good for Connacht, he deserves a Heineken Cup team after being stuck with the hapless Aironi/Zebre sides these past couple years. In fact thinking about it, he would have been an excellent signing for Leinster, better and makes more impact than Kirchner and would have come at half the price as well.

Duck you do know Connacht have played Heineken Cup last 2 seasons and have huge chance of doing so again next season.
And snoop while I agree he hasn't much tries I think Lam will help here and Connacht next season will have a good back line when you add in McSharry Henshaw Carr Duffy and others. They're shaping up grand but need a few in pack now. They have replaced McCarthy (possibly upgraded) but need more depth and quality

Not under their own steam as you know full well.

Sinoti has played 36 times in the Pro 12 scoring a whopping 5 tries. He's exciting to watch but he's not an impact player.

Name me a winger who would get heaps of tries at Zebre? If you look at his strike rate in his brief stint as medical joke at Toulon it's better. I disagree, he makes an impact most matches with a crap team. He's not an Ashton like support runner and try poacher which doesn't help his strike rate, but give him the ball and he is electric on the counter or out wide.

They are improved, but still in the lower tier of the league. Sinoti is good enough for a side in the top half and would be a good cheap value signing for any of them, I would love him at the Ospreys and think he would be a good signing given some of the crap there has been on the wings.

Apart from Carr, none are particularly strong attackers. Henshaw has been decent this season but carries no attacking threat from fullback. Duffy almost butchered a try last weekend (Vainikolo's?) by passing far too early and not committing a defender. McSharry is a basher.

One could point to the examples of Tim Visser at Edinburgh and Fionn Carr while at Connacht

Id rate basically anyone of Connachts starting wingers higher than him. He isnt the type of player we should be looking at any more. Certainly deserves to be on a better team than Zebre though I agree. Connacht main weakness's are in the Backrow, Scrum half, fly half and at hooker. Were well stocked at wing with O Halloran, Carr, Poolman, Duffy. I hope he goes well for the province though.

Snoop while I agree with you at moment the backs are in a majority all young and can still become good attacking threats and I'm really interested to see what Lam brings.
And Feic while I agree it's not of their own performances the gulf in resources will always make it hard for Connacht to be ahead of other 3 but every year they're in HEC they gain better experience and benefit

McSharry is more than a basher and a fine attacker. It's his excellent line coupled with his size and pace that makes him a possible Ireland centre.

Connacht are definitely building nice little video.

In terms of rumours I've heard Guilford to Leinster but hugely unlikely I'd say.

I heard the same thing about him to Munster but I can't think why he would move.
On Connacht, I really rate their young backs, and while Sinoti is a good signing, they're weak elsewhere. They have made some good signings in recent seasons with Clarke, Muldowney and Carr. I hope they bag themselves a backrow soon though.

One can dream.

He would perfect I really want him, he'll most likely end up in France though.

Been hearing that Eastmond is looking to head back to League once his contract is up at Bath.
