To be fair to Goode he's been playing well for Worcester - he's a very good(e) kick to the corners type player but can bring his backs in to the game well, too.
He'd certainly be a step up from Myler/Lamb.
Just never play him vs Tigers...

Also rumours of Andy Powell to Worcester.



Apparently six players who are out of contract aren't being offered new ones - I imagine the two above, + Aston Croall, then I'm not sure. Maybe Willis, Cobilas, Easter(?) and Uys.

well that's ruined* my day... if Wasps get Buckley and Myall from Sale then on balance Sale should be the happier side We've got an excellent first choice front row for next season with Mullan, Swainston and Thomas/Lindsay...I can see that Dai may want to replace Zak Taulafo who is likely leaving** with someone who can have an impact in the loose, and to be fair Buckleys a better carrier than Taulafo. But the games we've lost ths season have been down to 6-9 points given from scrum penalties, and Buckley doesn't have a good reputation in that regard. To be frank, I haven't paid much attention to Sales scrum myself, so maybe I'm wrong in thinking he's still bad***...

Offloading those two would be a good piece of business for Sale.

Powelly seems to have gone through a lot of clubs in his career.

Newport, Leicester, Béziers, Scarlets, Cardiff Blues, Wasps, Sale now possibly Worcester. His 8th club.

I'd be sad to see Powell go.
He's better than many give him credit for, and gives everything when he's on the pitch. Does tend to get isolated (though is better now than he used to be) and has the occasional brain fart, but many go on like he's a terrible player which just isn't true.
