Transfers rumours

Probably right, he's found some better form recently (that or the rest make him look better by poor form), but he's getting to that point where he'll start playing 2nd fiddle to the youngsters as backup. Saints need to step up with the quality on key parts from "good" to "great" players, particularly at 8, 10, centre & wingers.

Northampton are favourites to sign Fotuali'i, having offered him the chance to play 10 as well as 9, as both Myler and Lamb are apparently on the move. Racing have reportedly given up on trying to sign him. He could yet stay at the Ospreys. (Please, please, please...)

As a fellow Ospreys fan, this is a continuation of your pleases... (please, please, please, please, please, please, please...)

We cannot lose this man!

I would agree but........how do you turn down the exposure he would get with Saints? Difficult.......

PS please tell me Lamb is not taking French lessons......I could cope with Myler coming to Biarritz (just) but not Lamb...............

Gethin Jenkins: Toulon -> Cardiff Blues
Again.

Jenkins, Rees, Bourrust, Davies, nipper SR, Paterson, Warburton, Pretorius... Not too bad.

So the Rugby Paper today alleges that Tony Buckley is on his way to Wasps at the end of the season... if true, what an incredible statement of intent from the Wasps team.... f*** sake

Payne and Buckley....lel

Saints and Tigers interested in Cipriani, too, apparently.

I must be missing something huge here... the only reason we need to sign new props is to strengthen our shaky scrum. How the f*** is Buckley going to help that. We've got Swainston learning well at Tighthead, sounds like he had a good day yesterday against a more experienced Tigers front row.... we've also got Taylor and Mcintyre at loosehead... All these players are good in the loose, but on a steep learning curve at scrum time. And with Taulafo probably going to Stade Francais we need someone who can do a job at tighthead and loosehead. I'm perplexed

Also, apparently Wasps are looking to trade Nicky Robinson for Joe Carlisle of Worcester in some direct swap... why would you do that!? Robinson might be the worst goal-kicker of all time, but he's decent with ball in hand and Carlisle has never lived up to his hyping by coaches.

Haven't you got the most capped Welsh player of all time at fly-half? Don't be greedy! :p

tbf, the extra money from trading Robinson with Carlisle could help with strengthening the front row and bringing in Buckley. ;)

So just seen the following teams linked with Leigh Halfpenny

Leicester, Gloucester, Saints and Wasps.

Oh, and Exeter.

Popular young man.
