Transfers 2015/16

Trying to buy success will only get you so far.
Wasps are turning into the new Bath

Works with Sarries, though.
We initially started like that when the big overhaul occurred but we have started building our squad from our academy and most of the players we sign now are no bodies when they arrive like Jacques Burger, granted we do make a couple of big name signings here and there but a lot of our starting 15 come from our academy. Unlike Bath who's starting 15 predominantly come from London Irish's academy

Is your academy near Cape Town by any chance.lol

Victor Vito ---> Stade Rochelais
Isaia Toeava ---> Clermont

Two pretty big signing. I'm gutted about Victor Vito, always felt he was an underrated player in New Zealand. Two World Cup winners medals aren't a bad way to go out, and he would always struggle with Kieran Read being one of if not the best 8 in the world, and now captain. Would have loved to have seen him make a go of the 7s as he was a brilliant 7's player back in the day.

Toeava is an interesting one. Pleased he is going somewhere I can watch him play. Very good quality player, hoped he would have returned to NZ after 2011.

I'm a huge fan of Vito - as you say, he's unlucky to have been behind Read. Would've strolled into most other sides starting XV with ease.

Toeava is a medical joker for Nick Abendanon, for 3 months or so then he has signed a contract from next season until 2018, its probably as CLERMONT have their full quota of pro contracts for this season hence the medical joker until the end of the season.

but Vito is an excellent catch for La Rochelle looks like they are serious contenders to stay up!!!!!!!

The academy players must be on massive wages to get them to come across from South Africa eh...?

Big coup for Munster and not such a loss for Ulster, hope Munster don't **** him up.

I'm delirah with that. Good move for him I'd say. Think he'll go well down here
