Transfers 2014/15

I've got to admit I do want to see Pohe and Manu at 12/13 - simply monstrous... pretty predictable, but very, very big.

Next year if tigers want mass in the backline we can have
10. Bai = 16 Stone
11. Goneva = 15 st 3 lb
12. Pohe = 16.5 St
13. Manu = 17.3 St
14. Loamanu = 17St

Combined weight of around 82 stone or 520.7KG
Average weight of around 16.2 stone

Loamanu can play backrow, centres and back three? :eek: And I thought Hook was a utility signing...

Maybe he could move to hooker next?

Ryan Caldwell --> Exeter

Jim Hamilton --> Saracens
Juan Figallo --> Saracens
Mike Ellery --> Saracens

All officially confirmed.

Sarries reportedly have one more "major" signing to reveal - rumoured to be Kieran Longbottom (Western Force).

Pretty happy with the Figallo and Ellery signings as we need a bit more spark in the backline and a more powerful scrum. Hamilton's signing too me just seems to be halting Itoje's playing chances, unless we move Kruis to blindside flanker.

Figallo didn't play since January 2013 due to numerous neck injuries. The french laws don't allow him to play professional rugby in France so he decided to go in England to have the possibility to play

Darren Edwards: Dragons --> Bath

As an attack coach... any good?

Well, attack isn't/hasn't been our strong point...
I didn't think Darren was all to blame for our issues, and that he might have been a decent member of the staff, but not head coach material. (Granted, anybody would have a task given the budget and squad at the time)
FWIW I think he is less mental than Lyn Jones, and should have stayed around, but I can imagine Lyn wanting to run the show.

well fairplay to the English league though. "You guys in France have a law about a player with neck injury, fine, we'll take him". Hopefully he's healthy as the calendar year starts, and he'll add an enormous boost at scrumtime, just what the Saracens needed.

just hope that there is no life long injuries if he does play again, i find it incredible that he is not signed off in France by a LNR Doc on a G3 injury, yet he is allowed to play in the UK. under different medical rulings Bizarre!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Weirdly it used to be the opposite.
Steve Thompson couldn't play here, after injuring his neck, but could in France.

Joining previously announced James Love at Ealing Trailfinders next season from London Scottish will be centre Andy Reay (player/coach) and forwards Jamie Kilbane and Paul Spivey

oh, don't be so naive. Anything to take away English players from their nation...

(I know I know, he played for Eng still).

Louis Ludik to Ulster, confirmed by official page - 2 year deal

Great signing, he will be a solid addition. I can't remember ever saying he has played a bad game. Not too flash, but the type of player you can rely upon all day.
