Transfers 2012/13

Dickson is probably the best distributor in the league, but Lamb is flaky beyond belief and Myler is the epitome of average - consistently okay, but nowt special. Both are made to look better then they really are by Dicko or Roberts.

Its a shame, although he was frustrating at times I have always enjoyed watching IHumps at Ulster. I will never forget this kick at Ravenhill the whole place exploded

How is Martin Roberts getting on for you?
Wasn't a bad player for the Turks; good service, but lost his head often.

I like him personally. Acts as a good foil to mix the game up with his sniping. The only criticism I could have had is he doesn't command the pack brilliantly.

Its nice to have 2 top quality 9s available, not had that since Sharky and Dawson 10 years ago.

Been around a few days now but Josh Matavesi has joined worcester from Racing Metro

So the turks have one recognised second row.
I still maintain Shingler is a blindside. Turnbull might be dispatched as a second row...

Just gotta hope we do get Carizza and Eaton then. Shingler, Turnbull, even McCusker might be give turns there. Hear we're getting some welsh prem second rows to bolster our ranks, that'll be helpful.

Can't understand why they released Welch. He put in some very good performances last season and a few decent ones this season. He can't have been costing them that much. Gotta hope they can bring in at least two, if not three second rows for next season, or they're going to struggle once again with the physical side of the game in the tight.

Scott MacLeod (Kobe Steelers) ---> Newcastle Falcons

The Scarlets have found one of their replacements for their three departing locks in another Tongan Joe Tu'ineau, currently with Montpellier

He used to play with the Highlanders in Super Rugby, however was a reserve, never started a game and just played 50 minutes in 6 substitute appearances over two seasons he made their squad, hasn't featured much with Montpellier this season either, hasn't played a minute in the Top 14, just played in the Heineken Cup

From what I've seen of him (in those Heineken Cup matches), he was basically a gigantic lump of a lock, kind of like a Charteris build

The match I saw him play the lineout struggled, and the scrum was superb (he was behind a great scrummager Jgenti), however neither necessarily was down to him

Well it's a start I guess.

He's a highlight video of him. Shouldn't be too expensive and looks not half bad.
