Third Test: Australia v British and Irish Lions (06/07/13)

I love how Tuilagi and BOD are basically best mates.
Every training session they're always larking about.
Bromance.

BOD is passing knowledge from one great to another, I think england are going to beinfit massively form the Lions tour as their younger players like Farrel and Tuilangi seem to have learnt a lot from the coaches and peers.

I'm gonna be gutted when this games done, because the absence of this thread will leave a hole in my heart that nothing will be able to fill.
Well it's gonna be replaced by the biggest circle jerk/lynching of Welshmen you've ever seen, so you won't be too bored.

I hope you're looking forwards to the 2017 Lions squad discussion/prediction thread as much as I am. We should get that ball rolling Sunday.
I'm just glad Mite's not around anymore...

How are the grapes?
Are they...sour?

You tell us, England lost ;)

Right. Three hours to go. Positivity faces on. North's gonna score a hat-trick. Davies is going to be immense. O'Brien's going to herd Genia like he was a small calf missing his mammy. When Gray gets on the pitch, they'll decide he has to score for unity's sake, so North is going to pick him up and sprint down the pitch. It's all going to be good, ignore all previous postings

The only thing that's not good is I can't bloody watch it...

Positive thoughts, positive thoughts, positive thoughts...entire Lions squad gets piggy backs off of North to victory!

....that's not a bad tactic.
As long as North carries them like he carried Folau it's not obstruction. Once he's knackered bring on Tuilagi to carry North + whoever else.

Someone photoshop 23 players plus three coaches piggy-backing off of George North. STAT!

ahhhh, back in France ! Feels good to see some green on the roads...<3
Just got my internet connection and uhmm...well, isn't there a game today ?

Hope we pulverise these Ex Cons into Oblivion. This Lions match is sort of like the Longest Yard, except they don't have the Great Kahli, we do.

Not enough time for the 23, but here is the best depiction I could muster of the North-Gray piggy back

EDIT: Gray seems to be carrying an extra ball just in case the first fails to score him a try on behalf of Scotland

Totally agree....In some ways felt sorry for Cuthbert having been dropped after the first test after scoring a fairly decent try and Bowe (as quality as he is) did not deserve to be propelled straight back into the test squad once fit. The only reason he was/is comes down to his defence qualities. Cuthbert can be a little suspect in defence but it just shows the intention is not to go out there and run them all over the park. Again they are going to try and wear them down in the forwards look for territory and kicks!!! If that is the case I cannot see a win on the horizon. I really hope to be proved wrong and just maybe they'll play some actual rugby.

Dont get why gatland hasnt learnt from wales' defeats to the aussies that the game plan he set out wasnt good enough. The sad thing is the Aussies know the predictable game plan thats coming, and already that eases some fears of the unknown when you know the style the opposition are going to play. And the aussie backs r good defenders capable of tackling above their weight, and can turn you over or catch u unawares in the blink of an eye. Not feeling optomistic, just Hope the lions prove me wrong.

and North appears to be pooing out the Wallabie defender he ate for breakfast.

Positive thoughts seem to pervade the Sky numpties discussion at least.......they would appear to be fancying the chances of a series win and accentuating the positives. Let us hope that their optimisim wins over my pessimism!!

Welcome home Yoe and no doubt you are completely at ease with the heat here?

Das not up yet?

hah, thanks Tony ! Down South East...it's fine, even a bit chilly at night. But boy oh boy it feels good to be in a "normal" country again...
Anyways, isn't today the day where an epic battle occurs between two teams who have narrowly won one game each and await the decider ?
