The Movie Thread

Well i have seen just a Hindi movie named The Joker. Akshey kumar is the lead hero of the movie.

this is a entertainment movie.

But honestly i don't like this movie.

i have just seen ice age Continental Drift and Avengers. loved the both movies a lot

Prometheus... illuminati at it again... science vs the church, i wonder if there is going to be a sequel and if that movie is the prequal to the Alien trilogy

I watched Taken 2 on friday...

was a bit disappointed with the movie... But Liam Neeson will still kick Sean Bean's ass!!

I have no interest in Taken 2, I didn't really like the first one

Just watched River pourpre 1-2 ( savage rivers) with Jean Reno and Vincent Cassel. Relaxing afternoon.

I dug Here Comes the Boom. It is only rated Pg so that might throw some people off and has plenty of MMA. Those were fine with me though, it's not all sports there is a story to be found.

Resident Evil 5, Retribution... too long, Milla is too old & too similar to Matrix fight scenes...

Saw Skyfall today. Really enjoyed it, such a great film. Easily enters my top 3 of fave Bond Films, behind GoldenEye and above Die Another Day (what? I liked that one)

Watching Farce of the Penguins, I do like a parody and this fits the bill.

The funniest scene

Skyfall - and it was excellent!

das

Yeah saw this the other week. Best Bond film yet. Pierce Brosnan must feel like such a douche when he watches Daniel Craig's Bond.

Excuse the spelling mistakes.. RUNNING & GUNNING!!!

TBF, Brosnan was a good Bond, sadly though all of his scripts (bar Goldeneye) were ruddy awful excuses for too much product placement.

Just watched The Dark Knight Rises. It was good, not spectacular, but good. I'm not a fan of Bale (he's too wooden for me), but in this third Batman film I was finally able to connect with his Bruce Wayne. I don't know if it's the best of the trilogy, but it's the one I like the best.

das

Roger Moore was the best Bond when it came to getting the ladies.

Roger Moore was the best Bond when it came to getting the ladies.

I LOVED Roger Moore as Bond.......there was a youtube comment I read a couple of months ago that summed up Connery and Moore for me.....it was to the effect of "It's hard to argue that Connery wasn't the best Bond....but Moore was definitively the FUN Bond!!!" I'm a big Connery and Moore fanboy when it comes to the Bonds though(I also liked Lazenby's movie very underrated, Dalton was meh for me and I despised Brosnan always looked bored to be there) Craig's movies are so different from the others I really ahve to seperate him.

Anyways I came on to talk about Pandorum which I thought was the best sci-fi film I'd seen in ages. Not for the faint of heart since it is horror as well and is frankly pretty intense, if you enjoyed the Dead Space games or like Event Horizon or Alien than I think you'll be a fan. Great plot for the kind of movie it is and some amazing twists. It's from 2009 and not a lot og big names in the cast Dennis Quaid is one of the two lead roles.

Sounds good I'll check it out. Prometheus was a bit of a let-down. Good, but not THAT good.

And yeah Moore was definitely the funnest and funniest Bond.
