The Movie Thread

Same, a thoroughly enjoyable way to spend a couple of hours. A DVD must when it comes out. I must admit I was sceptical when I heard it was being made but I have been proved wrong. Neeson and Cooper are very good in it and ANY film with Jessica Biel in it is worth a watch.

Neeson, Cooper and Biel are the stars of the show ... Rampage does not make BA look ard like Mr T did!

Wow dude, you really stay true to your name. :/

The last movie i saw was Last Airbinder. The story follows the adventures of Aang, a young continuation of a long series of characters that must be set aside and, like His children to stop the Fire Nation from enslaving the Water, Earth and Air nations.
If you're into the cartoon I think you can appreciate that they've stuck to the proper story but if you're not into the cartoon I'm not really sure how the story will go down. A good movie anyway I'd give it a 7/10

The most recent movie I saw was Step Up 3d it tripped me out because I aint never seen 3d with full colour before so I was in the theatre looking like an idiot tryna grab at everything. Anyway because I'm into hip hop dancing and that sort of thing I'd give it a 8.5/10. The storylines just the same old kids use dance to rise out of their bad surroundings and what story would be complete without a love story goo goo gah gah s#@! I'd give that a 6/10

Centurion - In my opinion an awesome movie, I can just imagine this is how the people during the Roman era lived. Brutal action and gore made it exciting. Then again, I'm a sucker for Romans.

The plot was okay, just a few overdramatic scenes. 8/10

Last weekend I watched the best game-based movie, Prince of Persia. Nice story, good special effects and great acting by Jake Gyllenhaal and Ben Kingsley.

The presence of Gemma Arterton rapped it up for me ;)

Good gravy, that is one hawt filly.

Watch the movie ;) Or maybe it's not your taste and you prefer BTRA ;)

Is that the same chick off Clash Of The ***ans? anyway she's damn gorgeous.

I just watched Percy Jackson And The Lightning Thief. I thought it was good but had the potential to be even better. The effects were okay kinda Chronicles Of Narnia'ish but the story could have been so much better but it was still entertaining to watch. I give it a 7/10

Also watched Tekken 2010, I'm sort of into the game thou I haven't really played one since Tekken 4 so I liked it. It's a bit low budget but they've got most of the characters that are on the game apart from main ones like King, Jack and they've chucked some others in there I haven't heard of. Anyway the chick that plays Christie Montiero is flippin hot and is a tease. Good fight scenes some might have been a bit rushed but overall ok. 7/10

Yes! She plays Io in Clash of the ***ans :D

What a co-inci-dink. I have just watched that for the first time. One of those films that without all the snazzy effects wouldnt actually be that good. Not bad though to waste an hour or 2.

Gemma Arterton definitely does it for me!
In other news, do not listen to the lies of Iain! It is a total waste of 2 hours of your life and is a drastically poor film.

Yep just watched Prince Of Persia and that chick is damn fine. It ruins it for me thou because I end up having my perve glasses on for the rest of the movie lol. Seriously thou I think it's a good movie. Not too many crazy huge effects like alot movies these days and had a good storyline I'd give it a 8/10

"Shutter Island".... a typical Scorcese psycho-thriller. Damn good but damn confusing.

Also watched (or tried to) "The Hurt Locker".

Unutterably boring, and didn't finish it. Killed it after about an hour.

Honestly, I think "The Academy" were either bought off or they have rocks in their collective heads. Its no coincidence that this was directed by Kathryn Bigelow (James Cameron's ex) who frankly, after this effort, shouldn't be allowed anywhere near a movie set.

I'm convinced they gave this crap best picture just so they could stick it to Cameron.

I was told not to watch 'Daybreakers' apparently it's one of those movies that make you mad because ike most thriller/horrors these days the characters in it do exactly what you wouldn't want them to do. Can anyone vouch for this movie or does it suck? I thought the concept looked alright but they musn't have pulled it off.

I've just watched King Kong ( Peter Jackson's one). Utterly and irremediably crap. Awful.
