Test Match 2: All Blacks v British & Irish Lions (Wellington)

Not allowed to intentionally jump into a tackle. The poor pass caused his to jump, but you can't blame anyone. It's tough on the tackler sure, but it is what it is atm.
Its intentional to jump to catch the ball. That can be exploited that law as Ive mentioned. The balls passed too high, you don't accidentally jump for it :)

Well we won. However I remember saying Gat's selection would be justified if we won, not so today. It was a lucky win against a 14 man team. SBW gave us this game, for vast parts we were second best and our discipline was shocking. Enjoy it for the moment, but it doesn't paper over the cracks.

Made heavy weather of it, but well done Lions. Game on.

Fair to say Sincks was pumped.

And for those on the Eng Ford / Farrell debate, would you have put your house on Ford to get that kick? That's the difference.

No but you're allowed to.

Look it was very tough on NZ, not disputing that, I'd be really peeved.

The most frustrating, nail biting, tense but ultimately joyous of Lions victories.

MASSIVE decisions to be made in selection this week for Gatland.

There's a second half to that sentence... jumping into the tackle is different than jumping and getting tackled.

How does this effect the Ford/Farrell debate? Farrell was playing 12 and he would of taken the kick for England...

Can't believe people actually think the lions fans where chanting Jeremy Corybn when they where chanting Maro Itoje.

Me too of the changes.
Itoje was good.
Warburton not so good.
Sexton/Farrell was ok

But as you say we beat a 14man All Blacks.
And again management was poor in that Mako being left on so long could've cost us. Fact we effectively had no backrow cover could've cost us and Lawes should've been on much earlier. He was amazing

The sooner NZ rugby loses Aaron Cruden, the better. To kick the ball away with 2 minutes to go.. Absolutely out of touch with his rugby sense. The try last week, although well played, was because of Cruden's poor kick that didnt make touch.

Beauden Barrett got exposed again for his poor kicking, and as long as he kicks like that 90% of the time, all top international teams are in with a chance in a tight game.

Like I said, you could exploit that law. Its not fair play but if you jump to catch, you're safe from being tackled. So if you're about to be tackled and you jump, you could very well get a penalty for your team. Thats all Im saying and thats the truth. You can't be tackled in the air!
