He definitely deserves a place in the extended squad forthe Lions for all the improvements he's made this year.

And how's Simpson-Daniel been doing since his latest return from injury?

Dunno danny he is proving himself and the fact hes still producing is pretty dam good! If he has an excellent 6 Nations he will be in the Lions Test Squad!

Hey I dont doubt that. I was impressed by him at Gloucester but Lions is a big step up again.Not saying I dont rate him I just feel that someone like Wallace or Barklay(spelling?) looks a better bet.

Wallace is a 6 in my opinion for the Lions, he's a massive ball carrying 6! Barclay is the main threat at 7 but after the autmun tests Williams is in pole position but to be fair if Barclay has a massive 6 Nations you never quite know!

Do you think Gareth Delve has a chance of inclusion? I know he`s only played one game back from injury but he was really powerfull today for my boys. A few more games like that and IMO he wont be far away. The guy is now pushing 20 stone yet he`s kept his dynamism.

Delve is a class act there is no doubt about it! All Welsh coaches have raved about him because he is an excellent player! The problem with Delve though is his lack of fitness, he is always injured which is quite sad for the lad! Hes behind Jones and Powell at 8 now for Wales!

Yeah we all know about his injury problems but it would be criminal if he never became a seasoned international player. He just seems to have it all.

Ouch. those selections are painfully pro-English.

At the most, there could be an Englishman at 1, one of the back row, and 14. And yeah 10 for old time's Jonny optimism's sake.

But not the way they're going on! No wonder everyone calls the English up themselves and arrogant!. I read the Observer writers' selections and they weren't much more reassuring...

Nah, I'm pretty sure he meant Evans. Sky have been bigging up the pair during the H-Cup and in fairness they've had good reason to.
Meanwhile, Tom James has done cack all to warrant mention.

And I agree on the Sheridan point. He's second choice at Sale currently... :blink: (And Jenkins is a far better player regardless. What is it with the English and praising players to Nirvana and back after one good match?)

I think Guscott picking Wilkinson is the most retarded selection but that does fit with his punditry style to be honest. Dallaglio though probably has the most laughable selection of the lot though.

Surprised at Barnes picking Byrne after practically ejaculating over Kearney on the rugby club last Thursday.
