Spring Tour: Australia v Wales -2nd Test. (16/06/2012 10:00GMT)

Wales completely lost that one! They spread the ball and kicked it when they should have taken it in to contact. I'm shocked that a northern hemisphere team would be so poor at closing down a game. Australia fully deserved to win if you look at the game in its entirety but Wales should have held on at the end.

Not often I say it, Wales were close Australia were very good, but how did the ref miss the knock on that lead to 3 points for Aus, beaten by the ref

+1. Good enough!

If kicking one goal from there makes you good enough for test rugby then I am because I kicked one like that just this afternoon. I'm not saying he is or isn't good enough but that kick means alot to the Australian rugby team but nothing to the future prospects of Mike Harris in a Wallaby jersey.

Two good teams and at the end, Wales didn't have the composure or know-how to close that out when they should have. Hopefully they'll learn.

I will never get over just how much Warbs looks like an 80s cartoon villain.

Priestland seemed to love kicking the ball back to them. His game was poor.

I'm fighting the urge to let my immediate feelings dominate my posts.

Gutted, frustrated, ****** off.

Good on you chum.

My comment was off the cuff. The pressure must have been immense.

You could see the difference from last week, I believe Gatland has a massive effect on Wales.

Hard luck Wales, probably on the wrong side of the majority of decisions today. I can't believe their scrum dominance didn't earn more penalties, bit of a shambles really.

Wales need to get themselves a new 10. Despite a decent World Cup, Priestland is very average. Dan Biggar has shown a lot of form over the past few months, perhaps it's time to give him another shot.

Pollock was poor... surely.

But Wales made harakiri, because with 50" to go, you can't allow your opposition to run up the field with a STUPID SILLY penalty like this.
They were 60m out, with less than a minute!
Bloody hell let them play and just tackle everything!!!

Phillips and Priestland were ugly, no sens of tactical game, no idea to what to do with the ball, it's a shame for this amazing team which maybe didn't deserve too much to win the series, but had potential to win it well and they were nowhere near that.

They were limited by their own half duo in a terrible form.

I'm ridiculously gutted right now. Wasnt a penalty at the end, but the ref seemed far more inclined to go against Wales than Australia throughout the entire game. Never helps when the opposition get a leg up at the breakdown too <_<
Poor management at the end there though, did not need to give the first penalty away at all, was only gonna give them a position to win the game.

Basic things killed us really. Lineout in the first half and the kicking throughout. What's happened to Priestland's out of hand kicking? It was one of his big strengths for the Scarlets last year and for Wales during the WC, but it's been shocking these last two games. Poor decision by the management to start Priestland and an even poorer one not to replace him at some stage.

Can't wait for the Fail to defend Phillips and Preistland to the hilt tomorrow and Barry John to get slated for suggesting dropping Preistland.
