It's very basic 10 man rugby though. Conditions don't help but they're definitely not unleashing their best operators. Menoncello has been anonymous for example.

Right, if you're looking at attack only but consider the weather/playing conditions. Italy's defence has been very good and their centers need to be credited for that aspect.

Italy simply don't need to risk doing more, seems a pretty solid approach to this match. We know Italy can and will do more with ball in hand in other matches.

Agreed, just think they don't truely yet believe they are no longer consistent owners of the wooden spoon, maybe a year or two with some distance from it gives them the confidence to put their foot on their opponents throats in games they dominate most stats, although with the weather it's tough to say.
