[Six Nations 2018] Round 2: England vs Wales (10/02/2018)

Of course I'm bricking it, I expect the majority of people on here are.

But not about my words, just through nerves.

This thread had gone awfully quiet! Its like everyone (mostly the english) have turned to God for a day and are praying.

Let's not push it. It's more like the calm before the storm. No doubt, once the beer starts flowing tonight (with a Saints victory), the arrogance will arrive in full force.

Of course, regardless of definitions of "world class" there are an awful lot who wouldn't include Farrell. He may be inarguable for some (including most of the media), whilst for others you'd he's nothing better than solid at international level. Hell, there are still some out there who still think he's substandard at international level.
However inarguable he may be, you'll get a lot of argument - personally, I go with "decent international" but n better than that, unless all you care about is attitude and kicking from the tee.
When Farrell is consistently nominated for world player of the at the very least he is not just a kicker with attitude

England will never be considered "world class" unless they win the World Cup ........ again.
As far as English and Welsh players are concerned, which of them would currently be selected on merit for the All Blacks?
For Wales, Jonathan Davies would come closest. For England, maybe Watson. I don't think Billy V fits the bill for an All Black 8 for whom Kieran Read is peerless.
Would Itoje or Launchbury replace Whitelock and Retallick? No!
Whitlock yes

Yeah it is pretty quiet, need a bit more shite stirring. Why is it called the 6 nations? Everyone knows Wales isn't a real nation #evenyourstadiumknows ;)

Trouble is it's alot easier for smaller nations to get hype up about playing a big nation like England, than the other way around.
So i expect the welsh to be really up for this.

Hard to call should be close.

lol now that is pretty low but expected clearly youre getting rattled ragerancher, is england a country? or is it just the UK that is technically a country ?

The welsh get far more excited for the irish game to be honest and even scotland away when they take 20,000 to each...Twickenham is a bland and soulless place compared to dublin edinburgh paris and cardiff on matchday

I think wales are more likely to get the bonus the way theyre playing and the form of the players theyve picked
I agree I think Wales are more likely to get loosing bonus point than England getting the 4 try bonus point.

Have you been to Murrayfield? Horrible stadium.

Paris is the pinnacle. Wales need a roof to keep the tepid atmosphere in.

Nah the England v Wales games are dubbed the welsh world cup for a reason.
Hard to say why Wales are so fixated on the england games they just are.

The only reason more people travel to Scotland and ireland from wales is because they can't afford London prices.

Ha ha ha nice try. No we are not a 'nation' we are just the ones out to make the little boys cry when they lose.

Theyre really not, welsh fans dont even watch the english leagues
20,000 go to dublin and edinburgh every time
10,000 to 15000 to paris
Id say youd get more welsh fans going to rome now than twickenham, its just an awful place to watch rugby. Theres zero atmosphere in the area.
