[Six Nations 2018] Round 2: England vs Wales (10/02/2018)

Yeah it is pretty quiet, need a bit more shite stirring. Why is it called the 6 nations? Everyone knows Wales isn't a real nation #evenyourstadiumknows ;)

Shut it, or your holiday home gets it.

Nah the England v Wales games are dubbed the welsh world cup for a reason.
Hard to say why Wales are so fixated on the england games they just are.

The only reason more people travel to Scotland and ireland from wales is because they can't afford London prices.

Clearly haven't bought a pint in Dublin on match day ;)

Oh I dunno I was going to Twickers in 1980, and after. And now I live and own property in SW1. Let the games begin!

England what's your greatest achievement in Rugby? "Winning the Rugby world cup"
Wales whats your greatest achievement in Rugby? "Beating England"

England, what's your greatest achievement in rugby "Winning the world cup yonks ago, back in the old days."

Wales, whats your greatest achievement in rugby "seeing the look of desolation on English faces when we beat them, every time we beat them through the years."

I can agree on that. Lord Gav.

murrayfield is great edinburgh is absolutely epic, the welsh love it there
I love Edinburgh, the stadium on the other hand.

The best bit of Edinburgh, is the mile of pubs in town heading towards the stadium.

We're talking about players not teams; most teams will never win the world cup...Parisse at his best is still not capable of dragging Italy kicking and screaming to a world cup win. The idea that because of that he could never have been described as world class is bonkers. The idea that only one player per position could be described as world class is equally bonkers. World cup wins are correlation but not causation of being world class.

Just FYI, that definition of world class (starting spot in a world XV) is the one that Eddie Jones quoted when he set the aim of 5 world class players by 2019 and the one which I'd assume he continues to measure against when tracking that target. Not my view necessarily, but obviously does imply that only one player per position is "world class" at any one point.
