Sidhe's Rugby Challenge

I miss Wimpys :(
Does seem daft that there's such a big gap between to the NZ, AUS and SA release date to the one in Europe! Once again the distributors show that they're useless, as they did with Rugby League Live and Rugby League 3...,

As a vegitarian, my fast food options are usually cut down considerably, however, from accompanying others, I can tell you that Burger Kings' fries are the best of the lot.

Also: I'm looking forward to RC again! I'd began to forget about it. Glad it's relatively soon, as I'm at 95% of trophies on RWC and Zelda isn't out until November.

Well picked up my NZ Copy of the game and initial impressions are fresh approach :D The offloads seem to be a bit of a problem, lots and lots of them but overall very enjoyable. Need to do the tutorials to grasp it a bit deeper.

Quite frustrating that theres some huge bugs here and there that really ruin the experience (lets hope for them being fixed in upcoming patch).

NZ and Aus likenesses are very impressive, which makes me feel poo when playing as wales when Shane Williams is just short (end of likeness). Can't have it all, and I understand there were time constraints. Lets hope for some clever people that are good with player likenesses!

yes it is. just that whoever your distributor is forgot that Europe is somewhere people want to buy rugby games too...

I was replying to someone in the UK, which should make it clear that I meant it's not out in Europe yet.

Well after a couple of hours of play, I must congratulate SIDHE on their game. Very very good :D I like the fact that hot potato passing will get you nowhere! Also could be my mind deceiving me, but when holding down the pass buttons, the supporting players move in to an attacking line (get more structured). Also the method of sidestepping is very useful (right anologue stick left to right for a step to right and vice versa - Bit more real feeling).

Hopefully the UK Rugby gaming community will be as creative as their southern hemisphere counterparts once the game is released - I want my welsh and ospreys team to look close to how they should (In saying that Adam and Duncan Jones do look fairly similar to their real life counterparts - as well as Warburton :D).

Very exited to see what others in UK and europe feel about the game in comparison to RWC11. Both have their own unique feel. I do feel that RWC 11 is more for newcomers - My flat mates are yet to grasp the scrums and line outs for RC :p :p

TVH11 whats Hensons likeness like? Surely quite good?

Like most of the NH players his likeness goes as far as his skin colour ( is slightly tanned) and hair colour (brown hair), tis about it!!! No real simularities =( also hes english by default =(

Please find below the change list for the upcoming patch. There is no timing on when the patch will be available for download for existing versions at this time.

• Added ‘Game Play Sliders’ to Game Play options to adjust the following:
o High Tackle Frequency
o Offload frequency (AI)
o Offload success rate
o Pass success rate
o Break tackle ability
o Tackle ability
o Attack urgency
o Defensive urgency

• Added the ability to play Online Private Matches with either Balanced Team Stats or Offline Team Stats.
• Movement restrictions for RaboDirect Pro12 and Top 14, now players can only be moved within their respective competition due to licensing restrictions.
• Xbox 360 - Improved frame rate.
• Xbox 360 - Fixed issue where 50 Online Matches Trophy were not being awarded.
• Fixed issue where if an injury occurs on a try the gamer would not be awarded a conversion attempt.
• Fixed issue where Knock-on in in-goal area caused issues with awarding a Try and awarding a penalty to the Try Scorer when advantage was being played.
• Fixed issue where attacking team gets tackled over dead ball line, results in attacking team performing drop out on the 22m line.
• Corrected text from ‘Penalty’ to ‘Option’ when lineout results in an option to the opposition.
• Fixed issue where if the gamer holds sprint during a Tutorial in the loading screen the panting SFX would continue into game.
• Fixed issue where sin bin returns where being cancelled by a new yellow card.
• Fixed issue where Yellow Card players would not return to the field under specific circumstances with ‘Time added on’ (over 40mins and over 80mins).
• Fixed issue where if more than 2 yellow card players were off field they would return to the field in the wrong order.
• Fixed issue where some gamers were not able to replace injured players.
• Fixed issue where passing to playmaker from the ruck would sometimes pass to forwards.
• Fixed issue where failed passes would sometimes be thrown at an extreme angle backwards.
• Fixed issue where the Haka would sometimes play with incorrect leader animations.
• Some player names changed for licensing reasons.
• Various other stability improvements, minor fixes, and minor tweaks.

great work, not long now until the PC version comes out... happy to wait now that these fixes are included!

Some promising improvements, now the next question for the next few days/weeks will be "when is the patch available for download?, when is the patch available for download? when is the patch available for download?"

So i presume I shall download the patch, then "reinstall" the project novo rosters?? Would that still work? or is the player name change in patch a block of that?

Some nice improvements overall, will be fun to see them implemented once patch is released :D
