Scotland v Wales

Wow, need to pull our fingers out, still reckon Paul James and Craig Mitchell will do a good job again scrum time.

This game is just too close to call. Both Scotland and Wales will be hungry for a win after their defeats last week. Maybe the fact that it's at Murrayfield will be the decider. Although Scotland are probably the better side at the moment, the Wales team isn't that different from the 2008 slam team. And I would never discount a Wales win when their the underdogs, at home or away. Both teams deserve a win especially Scotland. But I will be cheering Wales for this one.

How about Max Evans at Fullback? Bit of a risk, but it lets you get Lamont, Ansbro, Evans and Walker onto the pitch at once, and Southwell off it. Or just Evans at 12. I really don't think he's a winger. He has all the atributes, but neds to get the ball more. Hopefully he proves me right today and ruins everything that comes his way.

Why do teams keep shifting their most gifted footballers about to potions in which they won't get the ball? Hook at Fullback, Max Evans on the wing, Aled Brew at flanker (Not a gifted footballer as such, but one of the only examples I could think of. Not as good a point as I thought it was.) I expect NZ to pick Carter at tighthead in the run-up to the World Cup.

COYS!

RHopefully Richie Gray has recovered from the bug he had on Friday, he had a massive game against France and we need him if we are going to win this
Can't wait until the game starts!

Gutted I'll be working tonight so I'll have to stay off any forms of communication until I've watched the game on iplayer!! But Max at full back is definitely a good shout - his attacking flair would be brilliant when running back from kick offs and if he could get that first stage of the counter attack to gain a little ground, it would make a much better platform to attack from. His talents are slightly wasted at centre as he just doesn't get the space he needs... It'll be an interesting one though!

When did that happen?!
Against Glasgow (I believe) not that long ago he played 60 minutes in the back row.

Richie Gray out, his namesake Vernon is in. Apparently Stoddart's also out, but the BBC says he's fit.

Jonathan Davies, HERO!!! "We have this thing with crap coaches right before World Cups" hahahaha

So, what do we expect? I wouldn't have given Scotland a chance but after their performance last week I think they have an edge over Wales unfortunately

Shane you monster, try for Wales from the turnover scrum!

I watched the replay but it was awfully close to a knock on...

FFS min!

This is going to be possibly a worse performance than that against NZ

Everytime I see Allan Jacobsen play I wonder if there isn't a prop in Scotland who is better suited and at least in shape.

Hook has had a good start at 10.. isnt as slow as he was against england and broke the line for the try. Also Byrne actually broke the line once :O

Didn't Hook play as fullback against England? He is not suited for that position.

This really is gash

Wales have been pish as well, which is the most infuriating thing of the lot
