Parks has made some shockers this game.

FFS Clancy ... again Jacobsen ... early engagement ... oh no wait penalty against Wales ... <_<

zzzzz by Scotland, the Worlds best at making errors team. I mean Parks for the penalty on the 71st couldnt even hold the ball passed to him for the penalty, its a really worry time for Scottish Rugby, in 5 years we yet again still can't perform. Who ever we get in the Round Robin of World Cup we'll probably not qualify. All I could hear last week of people on here was they are a skilled team, yeah it shows..

**** me Scotland have been shocking.

In Sport this is normal for a Scotsman, I mean in football, we beat world champions home and away, hump Ukraine 3-1, but get beat of Georgia 2-0, at the end.

In Rugby we win tests against the best of the World, and no offense to Wales but they are not a top side like they use to, but today Scotland made them look awesome. I am amazed Robinson hasn't smashed the window he constantly bangs on, everytime Scotland made an error.

Good to win up at Murrayfield.
Thought defence was great and we now have an official back row.
Very poor game from Phillips, please let Peel be fit- Great game from Jamie Roberts though. Hook had a decent game, but Clancy didn't seem to want Wales to play.

Both yellows were fair but Southwell should have had a card, as well as the other Scottish player (second row?) a few minutes afterwards. Congratulations to Rhys Priestland and Josh Turnbull on their first caps and SyG Sam Warburton.

Dross. Utter dross

What an awful game. That's 90 minutes of my life I would like back.

Already, I believe we can say that the battle to avoid the wooden spoon will be Scotland v Italy.

Byrne must have a real vendetta against the Evans family - ended one brothers career last year, tried to behead the other today! Their Dad better be watching his back at the pub tonight...

Can't believe Parks wasn't subbed for Jackson at half time
Lamont looked good
Lydiate/Warburton immense again, looking really world class
Philips is a knobhead, Knoyle looked much better
JT is terrible
Considering he only has one hand, Stoddart did alright, actually made a few tackles if I remember correctly :p
Hook good at 10,
Roberts very involved, looked strong in attack and defence, thank God he only switched on this week :p

Yellow card for Southwell, if I was the ref, wouldn't have been - Definitely a penalty, but I don't think there was intent there, you could see his mouth go "OH SHI-" when he took his eye off the ball - He was staring at the ball all the way to just before he copped a mouth full of boot
However, I don't know the official line for tackling in the air - like what distinguishes between a yellow and a penalty?

Wales needed a win, Scotland where pants beyond all reason. I hope Wales get a big win against Italy next week.

Shane put the ball down you clown!

Wales TRY!

Some may say it was disrespectful, but you watch footage after the try, he actually looked f@!ked. He was blowing out of his arse by the looks of it :D lol

To be fair the game in general was exactly how i thought it would be; extremely scrappy. I was very nervous prior to the game, but within the first 10 mins i grew with confidence. An error ridden game, that the brave welsh defence won it in the end. Possibly the most stubborn defensive display i've seen by our boys in a good while (hats off to em). The Whole team put the bodies on the line (Waburton was immense and totally deserved man of the match), so it was great to see that.

Not sure what the exact rules of tackling in the air is, but probably deserved a yellow card, regardless of whether he got a mouth full of blood for his efforts - (Byrne was a bit naughty with leading with the boot, no-one will know if that was intentional or not- bit sinister if it was :( :( ). Byrne's sin binning was deserved, Bradley Davies' was possibly harsh (McCaw, Martyn Williams etc get away with much worse). Games gone now, so no matter. Just nice to see the big W at last by our name.

Commiserations to the Scots, Best of luck to them in the tournament. Bring on Italy in 2 weeks time :D :D

Ye be interesting to see how the Italian game goes, Wales are on their travels again, and you would expect a tough game against Italy who want to bounce back.

To be fair I thought the reason Shane didn't put the ball down was he thought it wasn't a try!
I thought it wasn't (can't remember if I thought it was a knockon or an obsctruction or whatever in the buildup)
Don't think that was disrespectful at all, as TVH11 said, he was just shattered
His little *searching around for the defence* thing he does sometimes, however... :p

Not a great second half from Wales. Went back to awful tactics from Phillips of going blind alot and crabbing across. It's giving the defence a few seconds to push up and take the space from the welsh 10-12 channel. He really needs to up his game or that may be our only win. Feel like the very poor Scottish performance is papering over the tactical cracks here. Numerous scoring opportunities weren't taken by the Scots that ire and France will take advantage of. We never seem to have a plan B.

A wins a win, but we really need to move on from that again. Thank god it's Italy next week and not France.
