Scotland v Ireland

He went up because his opposite man was boreing in. Check it. Bozinga.

edit: Another penalty.

No was evident enough that Ross stood up, not debating it, that could easily have been penalised or re-set.

Great Scottish defence for that turnover. I want Scotland to get something from this game but at present they're only hanging in there from Irish indiscipline, errors etc. Ireland are looking good and it's seemed effortless and inevitable that they will find gaps in the Scottish defence.

ROGwatch:
Two missed kicks at goal and gives away a penalty 5 metres from the Scotland try line. Good decision picking him ahead of Sexton!

In ROGs defence: He's had a few good kicks to touch - However against a Scotland team competing well in the lineout that's not as big a weapon as it could be

Yep, O'Gara's touch finders have been excellent. He's a good option to have off the bench but he's not as good as Sexton (says the one eyed Leinster fan).

Irish player deliberately tried to block the runner, was the most unsubtle thing ever

Oh, and now a yellow card for scrumming........

Ok, Nigel Owens has been a bit rubbish.

Agreed. But i think maybe Referee's have too much pressure on them from governing bodies to 'sort out' scrum time, when there's not necessarily always a clear solution. Just makes referee's more extreme and harsh in either direction without necessarily understanding what's going on.

Answers on a postcard why O'Driscoll shouldn't have received a yellow for that obstruction.

Why didn't O'brien give it to any of the 4 players waiting for the ball. Could have walked it in, Owens runing this game for both teams...

I sh*t myself every time one of the Irish back 3 get the ball

Just keep the ball

Earls and O'Brien tearing it up (though O'Brien got greedy once). Nice try by Rog.

**** me scotland are ****. england should put 40 on them in 2 weeks, wouldn't be surprised if ireland do so today...

It's just a terrible Scottish performance - no excuses. Allan Jacobsen is just past it completely imo, the fact that he's in the bin doesn't make much difference... Rog's try was good but the fact that he just brushed Paterson off with ease totally sums up Scotland today - no conviction, no passion, no intensity...
